I know absolutely nothing about trains and railways - but the HST is one train that I always used to stop and watch- the sheer power that it appears to give off as it pulls away and the "thrum" noise it makes at speed made it a remarkable achievement of design and quality engineering. Glad Scot rail still operate this fine machine.
unbelievable 2023 and they still look modern and the mk3s still the preferred public choice ,what they must have been like to the public when they was introduced ,and the great british empire retiring them ,funny old country uk ,take a bow made in Britain and sterling service
Goodbye 👋 class 43 trains 🚊. They are the best trains 🚆 in the world 🌎 because they are fast 💨 and has a large engine. The seats 💺 💺 💺 are super and comfortable. The hopes on all class 43s are up ⬆️ because they take railway 🚃 customers from place to place via place and there’s nothing to complain about these trains 🚆 on the railways 🚃 🚆. I miss the class 43 trains 🚆 because they were good 👍 to me. Unfortunately, most of the class 43s were sent for scrap. Very sad 😔. Poor trains 🚆. I feel sorry 😢 for the class 43s and the train 🚆 drivers that the class 43s were scheduled off lease from these train companies because they were in reliable condition. I remembered travelling 🧭 🧳 on the class 43s from Exeter St Davids to London Paddington via Taunton and Newbury or Bristol Temole Meads in the years 1982 or 1983 were the class 43s had said on the side of the class 43s is Intercity 125. Well, it’s time 🕰️ to move on and things change. Perhaps 🤔 it’s upsetting 😠 that class 43s aren’t part of BR - British Rail anymore except SR - ScotRail since the year 2018 or 2019. 👍👍👍
The HST,s will definitely be missed on Cross Country Trains as they missed at London Kings Cross, & London St Pancras, London Paddington, as well as Bournemouth, & Portsmouth, It is a sad world on the Railway without the HST,s
This is the final regular passenger service to stop at Chesterfield, everything from now on will just be railtours that stop to pick up or drop off passengers, not service trains. Cameron
I don't think the Midland Pullman ever went to Chesterfield. The Nottingham service went nowhere near, and the Manchester service turned left just north of Derby. But in many ways it was the forerunner of the HST.
@@grahamwhitworth9454 they mean the Locomotive Services Limited Midland Pullman, a railtour HST set with ex-Midland VP185 powercars and ex-GWR coaches wearing the same livery as the original sets
