- New Amsterdam Travel Video- If you're looking for a wonderful, sunny European holiday, Croatia is fantastic. Our last visit there was when we visited the southern part of the country: Split, Trogir, Dubrovnic and a few islands. On this trip, we rented a car and for 2 weeks toured the Istrian peninsula in the north. Basing ourselves in the medieval town of Rovinj, we made many day trips which were never more than an hour away, including Pula with its impressive Roman arena; the Jama-Baredine Caves of Porec; the hilltop town of Motovun; and Ucka National Park and the 7 Waterfalls Trail. And for our our grand finale we stayed for two days in Plitvice National Park with its majestic waterfalls and networks of crystal clear lakes. Beaches, ancient towns, mountains and wine valleys, Istria has it all!
There will be 7 episodes in our Incredible Istria series, starting with this first one, where we explore the old, seaside town of Rovinj and the surrounding beaches. #rovinj #istria #croatia

Thank you - we will go to Rovinj in 8 weeks for the first time.
I love your videos ❤
Thank you so much ❤👍
Lovely video! What time of year was this, please? It’s not this warm there in January, is it?
We filmed this last half of September.
You say it's 27-28 degrees in September. Is it worth to visit Croatia in winter time?
I’ve never been in winter. But it sure would be warmer than the rest of Europe. Maybe concentrate on the inland areas like Zagreb.
