- Hi friends! Today’s video is I believe my first ever themed NENDOROID figure haul! Today’s nendoroid haul theme is disney princess! 👑
Let’s relive our childhood memories and unbox them together!
Starting with nendoroid 755, Belle from the Disney movie, Beauty and The Beast. By the way, this is my first time to see a nendoroid box like this. I like the custom windows on each side and the vintage frame print at the front which is a nice detail if you only wish to display belle inside her nendoroid box!
Altho I’m not entirely impressed by Belle’s nendoroid figure but i’m not saying i hate it either. Unfortunately, despite the extra accessories like Mrs Potts and Chip, I still think her nendoroid looks lacking.
But thank you Goodsmile Company for giving her hair slight articulation! It really adds to her overall look. Like when she tilts her head, her hair can be moved the other way and it improves the look right away!
Next we have the rebellious teenage fish, 🐟 😆 nendoroid 836, Princess Ariel from the movie The Little Mermaid.
Her nendoroid box is not as special looking as Belle tho. She belongs to the renewed batch of nendoroid boxes so i guess that explains her downsized box.
Ariel’s nendoroid has her own charm. Personally, i think i’m inlove with her nendoroid because of her wavy hair. 😍
I mean it’s a given that Goodsmile Company would copy her as accurate as possible but I'm just thankful they weren’t lazy about giving Ariel’s hair extra details and edges yknow. In addition, I'm also glad that her tail fins for both her standing and sitting lower parts can be moved.
Much like Belle’s hair, it will give this motion like effect to her photos! Also, I believe among the Disney princess nendoroids i have for today, Ariel has to be the most fitting to be in nendoroid form!
She has the most bubbly personality and biggest and most expressive eyes of all the older Disney princesses so having her in nendoroid form is not really that awkward if that ever-made sense. 🤣
Next we have nendoroid 1611, Cinderella. Like Ariel, she also belongs to the newer batch of produced nendoroids so she comes in this smaller sized box.
Okay so i really don’t wanna sound like an ungrateful person. I’m truly happy Goodsmile nendoroid series decided to make Disney princesses. But why the heck does Cinderella looks so dry!? It’s like you just made her just to complete the set or something? 😭
I loved Cinderella when I watched it as a kid so receiving this dry as heck nendoroid just feels like Goodsmile did not pour love as they were planning to make her at all.
Last from our Disney princess nendoroid haul, we have nendoroid 1174, our strong willed Princess Jasmine.
Thankfully Jasmine’s nendoroid looks like a breath of fresh air. It’s just unfortunate they did not make a smaller version of rajah as her companion like with Ariel. They could’ve made a chibi version of Rajah as a pet much like they did with Saber Alter’s dog.
I'm already happy with the results tho. Coming from unboxing Cinderella before her, maybe that’s why I'm kinda feeling contented haha! 😂😂
This nendoroid haul and unboxing was a rollercoaster of emotions to be honest haha! I was extremely happy with Princess jasmine mainly because of her extra faceplates which were very expressive.
The obvious least favorite part was unboxing Cinderella’s nendoroid. It was such a downer especially since I was expecting it too look good. Even her extra faceplate was almost the same as her standard faceplate. :(
As a consumer, it feels like Goodsmile Company did not think about the feelings of Cinderella fans that well. That aside, I'm super excited to collect more disney princess nendoroids. 🤩
I mainly collect Miku scales and dipping my toes in the nendoroid set collection is kinda dooming myself but i really want to atleast complete the Disney princess nendoroid line~

Im having a hard time deciding with disney nendo should i get next. I was thinking about belle, but which one? Lately, GS released a different version of belle in her blue dress that comes with lumiere and cogsworth and her faceplates on her newer nendo looks way better with more expressions as well as a more refined hairsculpt

It depends what you want the entirety of your disney princess nendoroid collection would look like. For me, I choose the older Belle nendoroid because I want to build a princess castle diorama or something like that. when time comes and I have all the princesses. I want all princess nendoroids in their standard dresses.
The new Belle nendoroid does look better IMO but her outfit won't fit with my plan.
If you plan on just displaying them as is, or just wanna collect all disney princess without any goals, then i suggest you choose the new Belle. She has better accessories and better faceplate option!

I was having a hard time finding Belle too! But from all the disney princesses, the most elusive are the old Elsa and Anna nendoroids >.

Hello! I don't have Komi in my collection ATM. As far as I know, there are no Fake Komi Nendoroids. However, once I get a chance to buy 1, I will make a nendoroid comparison. ^_^ For now, I will add this on my list. Thank you!
