10:17: The only things that changed were 1. Nobody except the Ninja and Garmadon remember the Mega Weapon however the affects still happened like Lloyd being older and the Pirates coming back to life. 2. The Mega Weapon was shot into space. 3. Everything else is the same and the past didn't change
Small spoiler in the first sentence :
There are 2 golden ore's that posses golden powers of the weapons, its safe to assume. Golden Weapons and Mega Weapon were shot into sky and that the timeline is in a loop of the past that returned to the future, Lloyd has something known as a timetravel. Golden Weapons essentially are weapons of creation as said in previous episodes with elemental powers of Ninja, Megaweapon is the weapon of creation with the power to create and control certain things in Ninjago
This episode was such a nostalgia trip when it first came out.
Lots of "Back to the Future" shoutouts in this episode:
- Lloyd fading away from the photograph is a clear reference to the original film in which Marty and his siblings slowly fade away from the McFly family photograph as a result of Marty McFly's alterations to the timeline.
- Master Wu says "Great Scott!" when he sees clouds of smoke rolling over Ninjago, referencing Doc Brown's iconic catchphrase.
- The ninja revisit the events of a previous installment just as Doc and Marty revisit the events of their first film in Back to the Future Part II.
But man, I hate time-travel episodes because of how confusing they can get. Destroying the Mega Weapon with the Golden Weapons did not erase everything, since Soto and his crew were still around after this, the Destiny's Bounty was still restored, Lloyd was still older, and Skales mentioned the Mega Weapon in the following episode. According to Tommy Andreasen:
- The only changes to remain are Present Garmadon having lost the Mega Weapon in the past and a new star being created. Though later we find out that the last bit isn't exactly true.
- The reason not all events were erased is due to "the nature of chaos."
- The individuals involved remember (the four Ninja, Wu, Nya, and Garmadon), and the pilot episodes still happened as they did originally.
- "There is very little logic to that episode."
- "Most likely the time paradox still destroyed [Samukai]."
Just saying that Kai did indeed do spinjitzu in the fire temple. They all learned to do it when they were getting the Scythe of Quakes (the first weapon they found), and the Sword of Fire was the last

When they destroyd the mega weapon in the past it made it so that they never travled back in time so nothing changed the regular timeline except the mega weapon being destroyd and lloyd not remembering it existing. Atleast thats what i think happend.
Once again another great reaction. This episode is pretty cool in my opinion. All I will say for a note is the Golden Weapons and Mega Weapon will be far more important in some other seasons than you realize such as seasons 3 and 10.

The golden weapons are for now gone but they will play an role again in Season 3 and 10

You're right. I thought it happened in Episode 1, but the pilots being before the actual series I guess threw me off.
What Garmaddon's doing would actually make a paradox. Like, if the Ninjas never came to be, Garmaddon would never time travel back in the first place, which means Kai and the others would become Ninjas

I have the theory that they stand in two temporary lines, one where Lloyd grows by magic and another where if several years passed until Lloyd grows. This I say because in the next seasons when they refer Lloyd's training they always say it took a long time to master their powers, so I think that in this new reality without the Mega weapon several years passed where we don't know what exactly happened, but it can know
