Yes, yes I can, Damir and here is why: Because you all pay tithing into the system and support it. Instead of demanding your church do something about it and take those priests to court, Catholics continue to pay tithing and keep their heads down. That is so disgusting. Ignoring the problem does stop the nightmares the victims experience.

Damir - False equivalencies. The catholic church is not an atom bomb, war, or Hollywood. It's a religious system that pushes an ideology. Paying into that system, supports it because it partially relies on it. You're right, they did move "away those priests who did the horrible things." They moved them right into another parish - not to a jail cell. If you continue to pay tithing into that system WITHOUT demanding that those priests be subjected to equal treatment under the law as any other child rapist, then you are apart of the problem. FFS, stop diminishing the issue to make yourself feel better and work to end the problem (if you're so good).

The wanting to switch the rosary for Divine Mercy chaplet is typical of my kids. Lol
The Rambling Loon my kids are 8, 5 and 1. I'd like to get the older ones praying the rosary but the suggestion always bombs with them... any tips on how to encourage participation? I don't want to force them, just encourage.

Because I'm so busy and I have a hard time sitting still and concentrating, I pray my rosary while I drive to work or run errands.
I play the Bruce Downes Daily Rosary podcast (HIGHLY recommend - it's a very sweet husband and wife praying together) and say the prayers along with them. I keep a rosary in my glove box so that I have one with me, but of course I can't hold the beads when I'm driving, so I count on the fingers of the hand that's not driving.
Since I usually think about my troubles when I drive, I've found that my morning commute is, a bit ironically, a great time for me to pray. It helps me get myself together for the day, remind myself of where my strength comes from and what I strive to be every day. ❤
That rosary one happens to me all the time... lol

A truly lazy Catholic friend of mine has a Rosary app on her phone. She turns it on when she goes to bed and lets the app pray for her.

I am 29...I have been more or less catholics since my birth though my family isn't really christian and really it does take time to be deeply rooted in Christ (heart, soul and brain).
I can't advice you enough to ask to the Virgin Mary to help and to pray for you. Since I am consecrated to Her and pray the rosary every day, I have seen a big change in my spiritual life...but it still didn't happen in one day, rather several years! It takes time and will. The Church offer you everything you need to grow in your faith....the problem is rather there are "too much" and too many great ways in the church you don't really know if you should get help from Benedictin's wisedom, the exercise of St I. de Loyola, the introduction to devote life from St Francois de Sales ,etc. etc... I advice to start by trying to understand the miracle of the Eucharist (even the animation movie "The Greatest miracle" is a way to start!), going to mass, getting the habit to take good and regular quality time for prayer.
