i had my first breakup 7 months ago, since then I've been suffering, i purely loved her so much. I find when I get angry, I often then feel shame - for allowing myself to get angry, about whatever it is. I then feel anxiety about what the angry emotion could do to my health. So, now I have anger, guilt, and anxiety....which is making it worse. One yogi I spoke to said something similar, she advised me whatever I am feeling to allow it to flow and express itself in a healthy way.

I believe the point is to make sure that you're capable of loving from within. To produce love internally as opposed from someone pushing you to love them, that way when we experience love from our love partner, it is not radically different from our average mindstate that we get obsessed by that stimulus. Even if suppose it is different, it is not the difference between heaven and hell, it is a great feeling that only pushes you to love more and not pushes you to de-rail from yourself and get drunk in that feeling.
