70 yo 200lb male. Have about 800 miles on this bike in 12 months, not my primary ride. The bike is easily pedaled with power off. I have been seeing range in the 25-30 range. The is an ebike the assists you, not an emoped with pedals. Understand that difference and you will not be disappointed. Also you forgot to mention you can add an additional battery to double capacity.
I've got this exact gravel bike. I bought it to use when turkey hunting on the logging road where I hunt. I usually go about 4.5 miles back. There are several hills on this road, but nothing I have to stand up to deal with. The single speed does not hinder me at all. I just put the assist level up to 5 then once at the top of the hill, back to 3 or 2. I'm 5/11 225 lbs, and I get about 15 to 18 miles on a charge. Around my home, I get similar results. I like this bike a lot. It allows me to get back to the areas I used to bike to when I was younger using a regular bike. I like that this bike doesn't look like an E bike. I've had guys not even notice when I rode by that I was on an E bike. A plus as far as I'm concerned.
We also dig an e-bike that doesn’t look like an e-bike!
This is a cool looking bike especially for an e-bike. I hear your argument for sustainability to get average joe on a commuter but I’d have to disagree by saying the fact that it uses lithium the most controversially mined mineral out there hardly makes this sustainable. Especially when compared to a regular bike. To be honest I’m not caught up in the “sustainable” craze but don’t paint a rock white and tell me it’s an egg.
