Voicing Benjamin Franklin was Walter Cronkite. As a former news anchor, I am sure those LNN segments were no small stretch for him. Note he reuses his "that's the way it is" line.
I remember when my teacher Linda Howe showed this to my class in the sixth grade. It was pretty interesting. It was great you were able to find the news segments there were a nice little summery of what was going on
Thumbs up if the upcoming iCarly reboot on Paramount+ brought you here! Only James is now like Spencer instead of Sam because first of all, Sam’s actress quit acting and there was a same-sex issue regarding Sam being friends with James. Anyway, the new iCarly reboot premieres on Paramount+ next month on June 17! I can’t wait!
@@henrilefevbre7956 I was saying how the character from iCarly that you are still the most like is Freddie Benson, portrayed by Nathan Kress. Also, the character from Wizards of Waverly Place that you are still the most like is Max Russo, portrayed by Jake T. Austin. Your team is Team Santana, iCarly’s team is Team NSYNC, and Wizards of Waverly Place’s team is Team 98 Degrees. These are all named after the artists behind your dance anthems.
They used to show these little segments in place of commercials when this show aired PBS. Always appreciated that as a kid, even then I knew commercials were bullshit. 😂
I will probably reference this episode and iCarly season 2 episode iOwe You in my next FanFiction chapter. We just got back from a great holiday party at our office in Monroeville.
iCarly is part of Nickelodeon, and the reboot series was on Paramount+ because it was geared towards the original audience who grew up with the show. Unfortunately, it got canceled after 3 seasons! Unpopular opinion: The original iCarly series should have ended after 3 seasons, too.
Liberty Kids Is Like A Great Historic Show
Well, unless U grew up watching Carmen Sandiego. But, yes, I agree.
Anyway, these segments are iconic and I wish that somebody would upload some more of these on UA-cam.

Henri is still like Freddie and Sarah is still like Carly, though.

Crazy used to like the show just for the segments
I bet Walter Cronkite was in his element doing this
I am here due to going through a few issues of Nickelodeon Magazine at work.
Looking back on this show and watching the LNN(Liberty News Network) segments, my favorite is the Continental Cartoons
I remember seeing this Show. My Favorite Characters were Sarah and Henri.
LNN is a Parody of CNN
The Creddie before Carly and Freddie from iCarly, and James is like the older brother, Spencer.
