Hello my friend.....its a video that give me a lot of inspiration. Thanks for sharing this one. I always prefere older lokos and rolling stuff. I loved the restauration, maintenence and sevice of them. Hopefully I am able to shoot some videos soon. Im just waiting for some parts of my video equipment to complete my system. Regards Rainer
Hi again, the Triang Blue Pullman is my favourite of favourites. I have so many of them I've lost track of the number on my shelves. I've just collected them over the years (many years I would add). Amongst my collection I have some in a mint, near perfect condition and also some that are in a dilapidated condition - scrap, some might say - so the thought came to me to rebuild a complete train from the bottom up using these old scrap coaches and locos. Well the project is underway and I will be filming it and putting it on You Tube probably starting next month or July (2024). Did you ever get all the vehicles you needed for your reverse livery Pullmans?
Yes the kitchen cars do make a great diffrence, (there should be two per unit). Loved the use of the dock shunter chassis, I think you can get replacement wheels to get rid of the noise from the wheels!

I came across your channel quite by accident and I am a new subscriber.
Thank you for your site.
Love the video, I am glad you like the kitchen car conversion, thanks for the plug!
Interesting layout you have there.
Thanks!

Nearly and I got decals if I have to do repaints
The Blue Pullman would be awesome to see in Thomas the Tank Engine.
what wheels did you use for the motor bogie
The axels from the Triang RDC. The did not have either the knurling or deep flanges a straight forward swap.
I have a blue pullman from triang and I'd like to add a kitchen car so I'll have to contact Derek Bond

Hi Thomas, I've sent you an email regarding possible Irish steam locomotive conversion projects and also information on Blue Pullmans.
