As much as I love the artistic work you do on your historical train layout, I really enjoy the "trash-bashing" aspect of this Sc-Fi project. Great work, as always, Jason.
Hi ya Jason. The legion of “ nerds,” ( I use that terminology with all due respect,) of all ages, are in complete awe. I am definitely one of them. Thanks.
The Scifi Train project is looking awesome! Still need to dirty up that Millennium Falcon! Good luck with the cleaning, I know like a lot of people that's the last thing you want to do!
Thank you so much!!! My son and I have been cleaning for the last two days. I’m already getting inspired to start the next project, lol! Thanks for watching! 👍
Jason, the Sci-Fi layout is coming together. It is great that you can look at old packaging, and suddenly, it is a great addition to the layout. Such modelling brilliance. Thank you for sharing, it certainly help us all, I am sure. PS. don't look at my worka rea, you are sooooo neat comared to me. Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
I admire your other fine pieces, but this project fascinates me more. I never know what to expect... also, the crazy concept of 'wrap around' is so Disney over the top, it s like an amusement park in a house, it s so wacky, lol. good show bro.
@@JasonJensenTrains I’m flattered to hear! Bigger updates on the terrain within the first city layer are coming soon, but I’m really feeling the word and lore building right now with the Dinosaur Caravan project right this minute!
In the event you are not aware; if you check on Entertainment Earth, under Star Wars, sub heading, Lamps, they have a Millenium Falcon and T.I.E. Fighter lamp that would fit your room perfectly. They’re sold as desk lamps, but I have found they actually work better as background lighting (perfect for a TV room). If they don’t have them there, you can probably find them on amazon, or some other collectibles sales site you might be aware of. P.S. - been watching you for a couple years now and have seriously learned a lot. You really are quite talented.
When I saw the work area, I thought: Ok, whoever organized the studio for me. haha I think that except for some enlightened is the common state of these sites. Congratulations on the channel, as usual.😉
Thank you so much!!! It gets out of hand so fast. The next few days I’ll be working on cleaning it up so I can start the next project. Thanks for watching!!!
Great work! Can't wait to see more. I especially love the weathering. its nice to see how you use al the materials (redBull cans) greetings from the Netherlands
@@JasonJensenTrains Yes I’ve watched all the parts of this build. My favorite is the bottom section where you used the redbull, pipes and Nerf-gun. Your painting skills are beautiful!!
lol fantastic, i see an EXO-Squad figure at 15:21, i loved that series/toy line and that one was my favorite! Sadly it was lost in one of my moves, but the memories are flooding back now... Cheers!
My father once said a tidy work bench is the sign of a diseased mind. If I used a tool he knew that I did and why didn't I put it back where I got it? I personally find by tidying up my bench I come away with inspiration to build some more. Great video by the way. I do like your GIJoe collection.
Thank you so much John!!! I appreciate it! I know once it’s all clean I will be inspired to keep building. I just have to get it cleaned. Thanks for watching!!! 👍
First thing : kudos to your wife wife ! If I said I am going to paint the family room ceiling Grey, she would say nice color for your bedroom. When I am doing Modeling / scenery in the train room/ work shop I have to clean it every 2 weeks. In my basement I have 4 work stations. one for kit building, one for soldering/locomotive / rolling stock repairs, one for large projects, and my air brush station. Still each dedicated one gets messy!! On the sci-fi build, it is looking great!! I saw some track in one of the sections is that what you are planning to use? Till next time.
Thank you so much buddy!!! My wife is so supportive! She really encourages me. Sounds like you have a great setup! Thanks for watching and happy modeling!!!
Amazing space sir wow 😮 such creatively I thought it was just me liking these creative projects it's so cool to see I'm not alone or simply crazy 🤪 very cool what you are doing I support it 💯 % never give up on yr dream once again thank you for all that you have done 🙏
Jason I thought you were going to use the long pieces of Styrofoam lower to the top of the TV more like a steel bridge or you could use the other pieces like that. And then add your fantastic cable detailing to it. Looks great-you always inspire.
I'm in this video and I don't like it! :D My workshop area is a giant mess too! Anyway, your home theater room is freaking amazing already, and your plans are going to make it even more so! Can't wait!
i love this project. truly an inspiration. i thought the top shelf was going to be ground level because of the size of the buildings there? with tv box foam mounted on the wall is this whole thing now underground? some kinda walled city? or domed? just wondering, i imagined some kinda stars and moons painted on the walls and ceilings
Thank you so much Bart!!! The entire room is supposed to be inside a giant space station. I will have one big door that ships fly in and out of. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it! 👍
Fantastic looks really amazing, I also have some styrofoam packaging just like you've used in my loft, I've been trying to figure how I can fit it into my layout, thanks for sharing Jason. 👍😁
Thank you so much Alex!!! I always appreciate it! You could maybe use the styrofoam as decorative trim or make it look like it’s supporting the layout and then paint it to look like concrete or steal. Just a thought. Thanks for watching!!! 👍
Thank you so much!!! I used a little bit of double stick tape to hold it in place and then used thumb tacks. That way it can all be removed if I ever move. Thanks for watching!!! 👍
Hello my husband wants to know what is the ship on the upper platform with a big number 2 on it? Overall we both really like both your sci-fi layout and train. Really love the brickwork
Question: what region are you from? My wife and I are trying to place your accent and I am right (Missouri? Kansas?) and she is wrong (East Coast). Please settle this. Awesome work and thank you for sharing!
Jason, what is the hot wire cutter you have and do you have a link? I'm beginning to look into getting one and one which is proven would be a good starting point.

Jason, a messy shop is a sign of an active mind. And take heart, there are ways. Howard Zane excavated to enlarge his basement. Twice! 😃
Thank you so much Greg!!! I’m spending a few days cleaning. Then I’ll probably get back to the HO scale layout. Thanks for watching buddy 👍
The SiFi layout is more intriguing each time you show it. Your workshops, layouts and display areas are very cool.
Thank you so much John!!! I truly appreciate it! 👍
Bringing you're imagination to life, as a kid playing with boxes. Bravo! What skills! 😏 Cheers 🇨🇦
Thank you so much Keith!!! I’m sure having a lot of fun. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it! 👍

LOL, Thanks! I just need some table space to work! The next few days will be spent cleaning. Thanks for watching David!!!
It's neat to see how your artists eye looks at things in spacial forms and color not to mention negative space.
Great job !
Thank you so very much Bob!!! I always appreciate hearing from you! 👍

When I saw the Long pieces of Styrofoam, I immediately thought of a bridge over the top of the TV.
