As always this is a highlight of my month and that does not mean that I am a boring old man! It is so good to see what other people are doing and maybe picking up ideas from different layouts. Loved the one with all the construction vehicles.
HOLY SMOKES JIMMY!!!🤯wham an amazing episode! I have so much to say about this weeks show… first of all, thank you thank you thank you for opening up your platform to showcase other model railroader layouts. Next, I was in Chicago last month and I grew up on the South side… The instant I seen that Chicago layout ( I knew) exactly what he was going for…beautiful work. The layout under construction? Brought me back 50 years. I remember playing with my toys and ( pretending) to have a construction site. And the fast train reminded me of my old ( slot car days )… and don’t get ME started on SCI-FI. Great work guys!🚂🚂🚂
A lot of varying ideas. One of the greatest things about this hobby. Nothing is really a wrong idea. I need to send you my latest switching layout (you already showcased my forst one a while ago) inspired from your MRR2
Love to see layouts in so many different stages! Everything from super basic to hyper detailed to completely whimsical! Thank you for sharing these. Really gives me inspiration to get the basement organized and get busy building! We just moved into a bigger house and my wife promised me the basement for a workshop, photography office and layout!
Some great layouts looks like EVERYBODY is having fun building their layouts and running trains. Good start to my Thursday. Creativity is the name for these layouts. Thanks for sharing. GOD BLESS 🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖
Jim, I have my monthly coffee shipped to me from Door County Coffee, up in northern Wisconsin. Per cup it proves to be a great savings. And with $50 dollar orders the shipping is free. Many delicious flavors as you will see on-line. I order 12 cup full pot bags, but you may also order K-cups. Try it and you may get hooked, like me. - Yardmaster
Hi Jimmy, Love your work. Your comment about only sending pics in after construction has started got me thinking. One of the most difficult tasks for me when i started was the track plan, what to include?, what to leave out? Is this curve too sharp? etc etc. I've seen a few track plan critique type clips but nothing regular. Maybe you could fill this void.
An 💡 idea occurred to me... could you share those trackplans in a special FB post? OR have a contest to seek out innovative idea and have those in a special ☕️ & 🚂. Be safe, take time for yourself and family!
I remember wanting a Turbo Train. It looks like a Star Trek shuttlecraft on rails. I should look up how hard it is to add DCC to one. I've got a Hayabusa Shinkansen set in HO scale though, is that futuristic enough?
Thank you Jimmy for sharing Chicago Crossing! Was a pleasure to be featured along with all these other wonderful modelers' layouts!
That last one is exactly what I meant on the gatekeeping video it's not for the purists, it's for the owner/operators enjoyment.

Great mix this time around, all interesting. Thanks to you and the contributors.
UFO was a great TV show back in the day.
Thanks for featuring my layout! I like Chicago Crossing. That sci-fi layout is cool, too.
Hey Jimmy! I'm drinking myself a walmart brand Carmel coffee. Honestly, best coffee I've had in a while!
Morning! Drinking Midnight Blend K-Cup with International Delight Sweet and Creamy Creamer! Cheers!
Today is the same Mayorga coffee but this time with a carmel creamer. 😋

Proves that different kind of trains fit well for people other than what some may think are "just some type of train nerd"

Those are some great layouts you shared with us. That turbo train was booking it for sure! - Jason
I have all three of those Tyco Turbo trains! and the Bonus Add on Consist.
To me to think that the layout at 3:30 looks modern with trains from Tyco from the 60 and 70s is amazing
