I still get excited when switching on and listening to my Evo 50A integrated. I will never sell it. What a gem of an amp! Excellent PraT, better than decent resolution, and a listen all day non-fatiguing sound signature. All with included balanced XLR inputs, and balance + tone controls if needed. Thank you Mr. Creek for making such affordable audiophilia.
My Creek Destiny 2 amp has been a gem for the past 12 years... Once my son takes over my current rig, it then will be a pleasure to upgrade to the Voyage i20...
I never owned or heard the original 4040 for that mater but I`d be interested how the new 4040a would compare to the Evolution 50a I have and think is brilliant.
Still listening to and enjoying my T43 tuner and EVO CD player. Unpretentious and great sounding gear.
