@RedVox
Please copypaste this in the video description so that UA-cam can split it into chapters 🙏
19:27 Vin has a surprisingly nice falsetto, it sounds great. Too many guys are afraid to sing with their falsetto, it’s nice to hear it.
thank you red vox for another banger album
Based Hacker
thank you hacker for thanking red vox for another banger album
@@mfpuma_ thanks i worked super hard
They just keep getting better and better and better. I can't express enough how much this band has helped me through really hard times. We all resonate with every part of this new album, as well as the old. I hope you all continue strong, as well as the listeners! Have a wonderful evening my friends
Red Vox is so, so important to me.
Thank you guys for keeping on with it. I'm a ride or die till the end.
Love you all and congrats on the phenominal release.
Blessed with another Red Vox album
pale blue dot is a zoomout of earth, as long as i can dream is a zoomout of reality
Wow, vinny's vocals have yet again reached another peak, especially in keep it together
Been hospitalized recently. Typical panic stuff, no big deal. Still between my new meds and my partner, this is an added blessing.
HOW DOES THIS BAND KEEP GETTING BETTER WITH EVERY NEW RELEASE
They probably got better because they took a forgetter!
@@MichaelRigoni It cured my dorcelessness
Can't wait for the EP "And"
(in all seriousness love you guys, your music is fantastic!)
So far, "and" consists of only "me oh well"
@@bruhSaintJohn vin did say that he left s few heavier tracks off this album because they didn’t fit, like 5 or so?
"Visions Afterthoughts and"
visions and and and afterthoughts?
Vinny’s voice has evolved a lot. This release sounds very psychedelic with some grunge flair added to it. I can also hear some Velvet Underground influences in there.
Honestly, this album came at a good time. March has been a rough month for me since my mom died 8 years ago and I felt this was a really healing experience. In fact, I felt like she was listening to this with me.
26:05 how dare you make me cry? I fucking loved this one. It is as soul destructor as it is beautiful and healing. Thanks for existing, Red Vox, for real
the wait between Visions and Afterthoughts felt like an eternity for me, I'm so glad that it's finally out
They really picked the perfect songs to release as singles because every single new song blew me the fuck away.
I seriously don't know what to say, this was amazing! Thank you, Vinny, Mike, Bill, and Joe for releasing such a banger!
It could be my bias towards this specific genre but I feel like this is literally their best album, even though Realign is their best work yet.
Something about the vibe of this album goes so hard, and The Sound You Make set it in stone. Phenomenal work from the group, they certainly did their best to deliver a new genre to their brand and it worked with flying colors (pun not intended)
Psychedelic visuals with distant instruments and a play on words and visuals, it’s like the videos and the music were having a battle on poetry
RedVox means a lot to me, ever since another light helped me come in to adulthood. I think this album came at an important time for me as well. Thank you
Same here man, same here.
Literally me, literally same
Thanks again for the opportunity to make a few videos, it was fun.
Amazing visuals and music, great job everyone who was involved!
this was truly a phenomenal experience. i got into this band in 2020 right after realign came out and your music is the reason why i started expanding my music taste and views on rock and music in general. i recent started learning guitar in school and i just keep think about how excited i am to learn the chords to all of your songs. life has been much better with your music around and i cannot thank you enough. keep creating and doing your stuff vin, mike, joe and bill. we are all here supporting you all the way. god bless
also the guest musicians on this did a great job. cant wait to see more guest in the future.❤❤❤❤
It's just an absolutely stunning album. You all have knocked it out of the park. You just keep getting better and better as time goes on. You are my favorite band of all time, and I'm so happy to have found you guys
Having read the lyrics to Traces… Holy shit I don’t think anyone has ever covered such a horrific subject matter with such grace and insight. Hats off to you guys, as usual.
Could you please elaborate? I'm an ESL, and it always feels like I'm close to a revelation when reading these lyrics, yet I lack the proficiency lol
@@maximvazhov6904 in short, it seems most likely that the song is about school shootings, their media coverage, and the people/victims involved
@@EthicalCrusader Oh really? Never considered that... Thank you for sharing!
This comment prompted me to look up the lyrics myself. Its exactly as you described
ive been listening to this for days now, its a crime how little views this has compared to other albums... this is absolutely incredible, and i can really hear the improvement these guys have made here since the last one. red vox, keep going and never stop changing 💛
I hope it doesn't discourage them from further music
This double album is something special.
I've listened to Visions more times than I can count, even more than Another Light, and Afterthoughts sounds like it's gonna take up my headspace for the next few months. The songs expand on Visions so well, and the finale with "As Long As I Can Dream" felt intense, powerful, and earned.
The music videos are phenomenal, the best they've been for Red Vox. Stunningly psychedelic and visually impressive in every case. You can really feel the sharp boost of visual quality between this and Visions. I had multiple instances where I had to stop and say "wait, how the hell did they do that?" The moments where it shifts back to reality hit especially hard when spliced between a lot of vibrant, bombastic colors and imagery, and overall it's just such a visual treat that I think it's going to inspire me in future works.
Congrats to Vinny, Joe, Mike, and Bill, for creating this album. Same for Chuck Salamone, Jerroid K., and Joe R. for their contributions. And congrats to Eagleinyourmind, GreatZott, GreatSphynx, Red Hat Jessey, Vinny, Jennifer, Alex for pulling out all the stops for the videos.
its always so awesome to see the bands progress ever since what could go wrong came out. i would probably write a textwall if it werent so late, everyone who was apart of this really killed it. traces and as long as i can dream at the moment are my favorites, and like a lot of other people this band means so much to me
Really loving the whole album, but Traces (12:40) was particularly good! Real different from your usual stuff
Thanks for helping me quit smoking, Vin

Eminence, when you think that you're ahead of it
And you needed more than you could get
There's a breakdown of the sentiment
And you feel you've had enough
Get out of the way, get out of your own way
Get out of the way, get out of the way, get out of your own way
Reverence, to the ones who make your life a mess
As you give up your inheritance
There's a shakedown on the precipice
Point the finger, pass the buck
Get out of the way, get out of your own way
Get out of the way, get out of the way, get out of your own way

3:43 Playing By The Rules
Well I’ve been playing by the rules, and I just can’t get out of bed
I’ve been saying more than you, but I don’t have any more left
Yeah I'm a sucker and a fool and I'm in way over my head
I’m on a different point of view, but I’m just so out of my depth
Well I can play it kinda cool but I'm just like anyone else
And I'm ok to play the fool If you don't think anything less
I’ve been deflated through and through but I can't have any regrets
Well I've been playing by the rules, but I don’t know who’s keeping check
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6:37 Almost A Stranger
Is it alright to be myself again
Can I finally be myself again
I don’t need a reason to find
I'm beginning to feel myself again
I’m leaving the memory behind
So I can finally be myself again, auf wiedersehen, I’ll see you there some better day
Cards on the table vanity off to the side
Always been able to get myself back to a stride
Time’s an eraser and reverie speaks for itself
Sign your own waiver and you’ll never be somebody else
You’ll never be somebody else
Is it alright to be myself again
Can I finally be myself again
I don’t need a reason to find
I'm beginning to feel myself again
I’m leaving the memory behind
So I can finally be myself again, auf wiedersehen, I’ll see you there some better day
Almost a stranger and even to those that I know
I'm the remainder of memories thrown to the cold
Life is too painful when honesty comes at a price
And lies aren’t fatal unless it's the four letter kind
Unless it's the four letter kind
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9:53 Jumped The Gun
Someone jumped the gun
Someone knew it all along
Someone jumped the gun
Someone really fucked it up
Yeah, what a shame, gotta pay the petty tax
Yeah, just the same, you know you've really gotta laugh
Someone jumped the gun
Some things better left undone
Someone jumped the gun
Someone ruined all the fun
Yeah, who's to say, you never really could get back
Yeah, gotta break, I don't know, maybe I'll be back
Someone jumped the gun
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12:40 Traces
Really no time, living on borrowed time
Not until they see what you've been through
Never looked back, never went back
Such a waste of life, but who allowed you, unwound you, threw you to the ground
That now you'd choose to put them down
(They’ll know who you are)
Never got time, never was given time
(Why’d you go so far)
This is what becomes of those who break
(They’ll know who you are)
Never know why, never know peace of mind
(Why’d you go so far)
Traces of the ones you left around you, rounds used, lives you’ve run aground
The classroom, those who should be out of bounds
Confused, deep wounds, can they heal somehow
Our minds are broken and beat down
(They’ll know who you are)
Nothing set right, everyone choose a side
(Why’d you go so far)
The advertising's free, and since they found you, crowned you, said your name aloud
Profound fools will want the same thing now
(Lives you’ve run aground)
(Should be out of bounds)
(Can they heal somehow)
(Lives you’ve run aground)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15:47 Saturnine
How many days has it been now, hard to tell
The sand it stings and beats my brow, beats me down
The cool night wind betrays a sound, just a sound
Oh stars above don't leave me now, how about now
I hear you, I hear the sound
I see you, I see the ground
I'm falling, I won't go down
I'm leaving
The fire's cold
The days are slow
The final crumb
The setting sun
My visions blur the here and now, to be found
My final days, my first few sounds, here and now
My father, my fallow ground
The reasons, my mother found
I'm sorry, but not right now
I'm leaving
An only son
The fire's gone
What's done is done
The setting sun
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
19:27 Keep It Together
It's time to be extra cautious
A sigh of relief, but don't get thoughtless
I'm getting old and you'll be older too
It’s time to see what you’ve created,
Resigned to be, nauseated
Sit back for the show, they wanted the real you
It used to be less complicated
When you’re talking to me, is it real or traded
And now I suppose you’ll be going too
Keep it together
Gotta keep it together
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
23:10 Forgetter
The sun is up but the sky is gray
The birds are flying away
They'll pick you up, they'll pull you away
They'll give you more than they take
When it's too tough
The time is up
Forgetter
Forgetter
Forget, it’ll make you feel better
The same old stuff on the same old day
The light that keeps you awake
And there's no doubt that your troubles will stay
If you don't turn them away
They'll turn you on
They'll turn you down
Forgetter
Forgetter
Forget, it’ll make you feel better
It's all so small
From far enough
The siren's call
Forgetter
Forgetter
Forget, it’ll make you feel better
How would I find myself
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
26:03 The Sound You Make
Inside you there's a sound that you could make
The right tune can clear a rainy day
It finds you like a dog that lost its way
Reminds you of the one that got away
It's time to look at what we celebrate
The trite fools who would throw it all away
The ones who give some meaning to their pain
Remind you everything will be ok
Thinking about the rain
I’ve been thinking about the rain
The time you give to something you can't fake
Defines you and the feelings you relate
It grounds you to a world that you create
Without you, everything's a bit more gray
I’ve been thinking about the rain
I’ve been thinking about the rain
Without you there's a price that we all pay
The sound you
You make
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
29:52 As Long As I Can Dream
In the morning air
At the window, yeah
In the morning
At the window
These dreams, like a scene from your old life
Through a cold and distant light
There's a place, but there's no time
These dreams, take apart your shallow mind
In a way you can't define
Like a bullet from the sky
I know, I know, I know you can never get it back
So don't be late and take another crack
I won't complain as long as I can dream
These dreams, when you live a double life
And the stakes are just too high
Grenadine and shepherd's pie
These dreams, they can really change your life
Are you ready for the dive
Through the shallows and the cries
Of those who chose to put it on their back
The highs, the lows that make so many crack
And so it goes, as long as I can dream
As long as I can dream

Legend
Red Vox lyrics have always been vague and mysterious, and it's part of what draws me in. Lots of my favorite bands do it and they all do it really well, Red Vox being no exception. This album is the same. The lyrics are very abstract in that lovely Red Vox way, but something about this album just feels very... raw? Real. Personal. Even moreso than their past few big releases. There's a lot of emotion in these lyrics, and while it's not too clear what the songs are about exactly, something about the intention behind the words used stands out and makes the songs lyrics feel very genuine. And that's not even to mention the rest of the music, which compliments all of it through the use of beautifully melodic chord progressions and lead guitar lines, complimentary bass lines, unique synth sounds and melodies, some of Vinny's best vocals in his career, and carefully dynamic drums, all in front of heavy reverb and delays that craft a soundscape that draws you in and immerses you in the vibe. The combination of everything together is truly mesmerizing, and the sincerity in the lyrics this time around makes this their most beautifully emotional album yet.
This is it. This is this bands best songwriting to date, and by quite a bit. This is the Red Vox sound, and it's outstanding.
To anyone reading, this album is to be cherished. Keep it close to your heart, because that's where it should be.
Great comment!
March is gonna be a good month
Super impressive album not to mention having a video for every song. Thank you Red Vox and crew and love you chat.
More albums should have full visuals. This is like Fantasia with psych rock, it's so cool
This album is so chill! It reminds me of Stranded, it takes you on a journey. Saturnine is my favourite track here.
For me, this album so far feels like a transition to uncertainty. Visions came out at a time where I felt like I was healing from some bad times, but this one came out right as things started feeling weird in my life.
I’m doing a lot of new stuff and I’m thinking a lot about my future. And I’m similarly unsure how to feel about this album still. It’s good, but I’m not sure how much I love the songs on here yet. And hey, I think that’ll make it more interesting cause many of their albums were like that.
For now, it’s just good to have more music to keep me company in this calm yet bumpy ride that is my life.
thank you for making 2023 off to a great start with your music,
All tracks = awesome
the visuals = amazing
vibes = an experience to remember
thank you guys for releasing this

I found this band through Vinny’s stream tonight and was instantly hooked. I’m looking forward to witnessing this bands growth. ❤
Been here since What Could Go Wrong, so rewarding to see the band’s progress.
Was having an absolutely horrible night and already I'm feeling a lot better from the opening chords. Thanks guys
Thank you to everyone involved for the album! The visuals are a joy to watch on every song and I can't wait to listen to it again!
I actually wouldn’t be where I am now without Red Vox, seriously I started really listening and liking to music because of you guys and it really has changed my life and I can’t thank you enough :) can’t wait to see what the future brings, in the meantime I can’t wait to listen to the entire album in loop lol
Crying flying and vomiting in the ball pit all at once. Im smiling from ear to ear its starting to hurt, unfortunately just had an awful break up 3 weeks ago and i will be listening to this religiously. Thank you to every single person who worked on this
I was so anxious for this album ever since I heard Visions and Afterthoughts would be a double LP. Always great to see Red Vox release something new!
We love Red Vox!
The sound you make is my favorite of this album for sure. Nice work everyone!
Almost a Stranger struck a chord with me. I was listening to this album at a job where I've had to hide who I am, so when that first line drops it fuckin hit me hard.
Great ass album from start to finish.
You fellas never miss
Holy shit I had chills the entire time of traces. Easily my favorite song from the album. You guys are incredible.
Forgetter instantly gave me a smile on my face once I saw your alien boy
Listening to this nonstop, so good!
What a band, what an album. I was enraptured the whole way through. So much palpable emotion and amazing music! When you guys become one of the all time greats ill be able to say i was here :)
another common red vox W. amazingly trippy visuals, i couldn't tear my eyes away. all the kudos to everyone who worked on this video!
listened during the premier, another amazing album that'll be stuck in my head for months
🦐
The band has completely outdone themselves on this album. Stranded was my all time favorite out of anything Red Vox has released until now because Afterthoughts is just so good. Vinny, Mike, Joe, and Bill give yourselves pats on the back!! As well as Eagleinyourmind, Zott, Sphinx, Chuck, and Red hat Jesse!
This album is epic, I didn't fully realise Vinny released albums until last nights stream, I'm so happy I found this out :D
this is genuinely amazing and breathtaking
from the visuals (THANK YOU ZOTT, SPHYNX AND EAGLE !!), to the vocals, to just
everything !!!
AGAIN, you guys REALLY outdid yourselves and made a beautiful album !!!
There's something so ... translucent about the way this sounds. I love it.
watched on the premier and loved every song thank you for what you guys do at the studio!
the opening track and the CRT visuals are so fucking perfect
Damn, good stuff! Coincidentally I'm wearing my WCGW shirt today
Thanks again guys it was a lot of fun
Absolutely beautiful album. Red Vox's sound has come such a long way.
Jeez I just really love this music, it means a lot, thank you, Red Vox.
I missed the actual premier but was there for the commentary so im excited to listen to this for the first time :D
What a fantastic album. This feels like the culmination of all previous albums, different but with the DNA of each of them, I even got some "Kerosene" vibes (extremely underrated album imo). Vinny seems to explore new fascets of his vocal range with each new album and this is no different. I just loved this album, Red Vox has meant a lot to me since i got into it back in 2017 or so and I wish you guys nothing but the best. Thanks for the music!
that transition from eminence and playing by the rules is so visually and audibly amazing
considering vinny catching covid and having hindered vocals, this album is SO amazing. each one is better than the last, but every single album already good on its own.
Wish I could've made it to the stream, but I got busy! Just wanted to say that your music has become so important to me since I started listening, easily my favorite band. This album is wonderful thank you Vinny, Mike, Bill and Joe.
just finished watching the premiere and q&a. you guys totally outdid yourselves, absolutely fucking incredible album
The Sound You Make was the instant favourite for me, hands down. Also love the bookend with Visions at the end.
The culmination of nearly 2 years of work and I love every second of it!
Sounds great man. Obviously early, but this might be my favorite release you guys have put out so far.
One thing I'd say is I respect the amount of restraint you have with songwriting. Some of these songs I wish would go on for much longer, but that only adds to the experience. The visuals really amplify everything as well. Vin has such a distinct voice and it's weird having watched his videos for so long, I can't not hear the same dude playing weird games. Love the lush instrumentals, and how you can go from the snappy bright playing by the rules to something like traces with it's huge reverby soubd
Im so happy
Im so sad
Im
HEADING BACK TO RENO!!!
Visions was probably my favorite so I'm really impressed how this is just as good, awesome stuff! A perfect second half to that album.
FUCK YEEAHHHHHH omg i was so hyped for this! every time a new red vox album drops i feel no pain at all.
you guys keep getting better and better. hoping there may be a chance ill be able to hear you guys live some day
This album is incredible, thank you all again for the music
Thank you Red Vox. Don't think anything will top From the Stars as my favorite song bit Keep it Together might have a shot.
Tha nk
:)
Y'all have got to give Mike some more screen time. But for real, this is by far your guys' best album yet -- thank you Vin, Mike, Joe, and Bill for creating this, I love it!
After listening to that live premiere this might honestly be the band's best album yet! Every single track is a banger and even the visuals are a joy to watch along with the songs
Thank you Red Vox, was really worth the wait

You guys have grown so much. I remember the beginning of the band and now you've come so far, I love it so much. My #1 favorite band without a doubt.
Unironically phenomenal. One of my top bands rn.
I've been a fan of Red Vox for the past five years, and this album truly exceeded my expectations. I wasn't even sure what the bar was set at before listening, but holy shit, they went above and beyond. This is a masterpiece.
they walked into the studio and COOKED.
Liking the new mix on Jumped the Gun :)
Beautiful album, sitting down and listening to the whole thing brought a sense of calm and joy to my mind
I LOVE IT SO MUCH THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO WORKED ON THIS
Y'all are all so talented, in love with every album you release, they just get better and better!
The whole thing is great, this might be my favorite since Another Light, it offers a lot of different themes and emotions but they all blend together into one cohesive unit.
However, there is a standout, I LOVE Traces. Really excellent writing, it feels like a motion, chasing behind the traces that are left. Really love it.
Traces of the ones you left around you, rounds used, lives you’ve run aground.
The classroom, those who should be out of bounds.
Confused, deep wounds, can they heal somehow.
Our minds are broken and beat down.
was there for the premier and it was just unreal, loved every single second
I really love this entire album, great job as always.
Incredible work you guys, so worth the wait
this album is incredible! the videos, everyones performances, top notch! love you guys!!
fantastic job on all the music videos. honestly among the best i've ever seen
This is sonically my favorite project of yours, great stuff as always
Beautiful second half to this double album, you guys improve with every step you take. I can't imagine it getting much better, but it always does, congrats! Also I was here!
What an experience!
Much love to you all Red Vox!
Y’all never miss!! Thank you!!
