    MISA used 3 different basses for this concert and she swapped them out 7 times. This pale blue one, her tobacco burst offset Mustang style and her distressed white (looks yellow) PJ style Black Smoker. All of her basses are custom made for her by Black Cloud, a custom luthier in Japan.
    What we need to do is to comment bomb their video asking for them to make the next release before the BD-DVD launch should be a two-fer of DICE-Hate? from this concert.

    When asked about influences, Kanami always sites Santana. The solo on Don't you tell ME (whether on the studio version or all the live versions I've seen on video or in person) feels the most "Santana-esque" to my ears.

    Guys, this was so epic, and enhanced by the looks on your faces, lol. As we all know, Kanami likes to throw the kitchen sink when she does solos, but this time she really outdid herself. I heard Carlos Santana, some Deep Purple/Rush tones, a touch of Lynyrd Skynyrd and even a hint of surf rock. And what more can be said about Akane that hasn't already been said..........her fills not only during the entire song, but during that solo also, were sheer perfection. And the sight of her smiling and laughing continuously from start to finish is just the epitome of Band maid in a nutshell.
    And Sai-Chan.........wow, just WOW !!!!!! She was literally luminous out on that stage and she was in total control, which is just want the crowd there and at every other show they have done wants, to be led by a master. She has made herself into a bonafide star !!!! Watching her strut her stuff on that stage was worth three times the price of admission.
    And those new glam maid outfits were just perfect and brings out a slightly different and more mature look and feel. Seeing Kanami standing up there at the beginning with that sly smile on her face showed she was definitely on her game. Everyone was just perfect.

As one former long time DJ said while reacting to the song, said "for all you young rock bands out there, this is how you do it!" This was the conversation between Mincho & MISA about music. Later on they had a full blown argument. In the end, they agreed that both could be the lead guitarist in the band. That is the Band-Maid sound. It works so well, they have created their own genre. The BAND-MAID genre, which is however they want to play is what they play. Thanks for the reaction guys, it had been too long. Cheers!

    Lottery tickets is a system to sell concert tickets in Japan. You must win a lottery to be allowed to buy tickets. It's to avoid the first arrived first served thingy and limit the reselling traffic.
    This is one of their older songs. It's not usually considered one of their very bests but it's undeniably elevated by this live.

    • @lurkmerchant
      @lurkmerchant 8 місяців тому

      First come first served would be fair and they would've sold more tickets!

    • @lurkmerchant
      @lurkmerchant 8 місяців тому

      @@ausoleil8269 There are only 2 official ticket sellers in Japan, so resellers are fairly easy to spot.
      The problem with lottery system is that people are lead to think that they must win the lottery to get the ticket, which isn't true.
      Often there are way too many tickets left for general sale that won't start till the last minute. A band like bandmaid who have many dedicated fans overseas to travel to Japan for concerts, the system could be too complicated.

    Think of what Miku has done for Band-Maid. She stepped back to have Saiki sing lead because she believed she had a better voice. What does that mean -- a new direction in music on their upcoming summer album... new battle gear... different stage show or venues... more collabs (The Warning, Lovebites, individual musician appearances?)... member and band projects like scoring movies, aniMaids, soloing projects like Cluppo... someone getting married or 👶🐣?? For more elaboration, a lot of shows in Japan have a "lottery system" that you need to "win" before you are able to buy your ticket. This is mainly the case for big shows/acts that tend to be sold out. Yes, I can imagine it being a pain in the ass sometimes if you can't get a ticket for the show you want to go to, but it prevents scalping and other things that plague ticket sales in the West. It keeps it fair for everybody, so no waiting for sales to open and spamming the ticket websites either.
