Adam, 16, used to love playing football. Then he was diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening blood disorder. After three years of treatment, Adam was ready for his wish. Follow along as he travels to Florida to meet quarterback Tim Tebow.

As a Christian and a football fan, I absolutely adore Tim Tebow! I am not a fan of any of the teams he played for, but I have so much respect for him because of how nice of a person he is and how faithful he is to God. This world could use a lot more people like him.

I think he could still be in the nfl if he played a different position. He has got the talent. He just didnt have the mind to play qb and his form needed work.

@@kmbfloral3319 But there is a point to having talent. It can factor into what what makes you a hero in someone's eyes and whether or not they see you as a hero at all. Part of analyzing this maturely is taking a close look at and measuring the quality of a hero, and since we're talking about football, it's an important plus if someone's football hero is damn good at the game.
Not that Adam in particular couldn't, but the very smallest kids can't tell a good play from a bad one, and Adam must have liked him at least in part because he liked what of his work he saw.
Love or hate Tebow the guy has a heart of gold and is a class act off the field. This kid will never forget this day

I once brought Tim Tebow up in a conversation, and was SHOCKED at the dislike the people had for him. Bashing his faith, and football abilities (and then proceeding to attack me for my faith). I don’t understand how anyone could not like him!! An incredible man of faith, and a terrific role model. He does so much good for so many people. ❤️ God bless Tim Tebow!

I'm a loud, and proud Tebow hater, on the field. But it's things like this (and many other stories I've heard) that make it impossible to hate him as a human being. He comes off as a genuine, and caring human being. If I ever had the opportunity to meet him, I would tell him that I may not be the biggest fan of his on the field performance, but as a man, he's second to none.

Yes they are. People suck. Who the hell cares if he’s a good football player or not this was the kids hero and who he wanted to meet while he was dying. Sweet Jesus who gives a Frick about his football record. Some of these people need to follow the rules and if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything at all.

Me too. I actually met him back in 2007, I went to Florida Georgia game in 2007 and 08, I went to BCS game in 2009 and I went to his Foundation golf tournament in 2012, 14, 15, and 16.

Tim still helps the helpless in other countries and those children who go to the hospital with cleft palate in Phillipines and others who are more left out of a lot of activities that regular people get to go to like high school proms and people with the lowest quality of life and that makes him like Jesus! (you did not know that about Mr Tim Tebow, I do not think you did)

How does someone not like Tim Tebow?
The part when he said there were some days when he just wanted the doctors to place something in his IV to put him to sleep forever broke my heart. Then goes on to say he was gonna be strong. This kid has fortitude we will never understand. I’m so glad he got his day with Tim.
The professionalism of these players and how they make these kids feel.....astounds me, they are indeed amazing on and off the field, thank god for people like this.
As a life long Bronco fan, Mr. Tebow gave us one heck of a remarkable ride. Trust me Bronco fans will always remember that exciting year for many years to come. Super gentleman, great heart.

Tebow might not be the best quarterback in the world, but he is truly a class act. He's the kind of person that everyone should try to be like. I have tons of respect for what he does off the field.

You know, a lot of the people who do these things might not be 100 percent genuine with how into it they are, but with Tebow, you know that he loved every minute of it.
I hear how everyone hates Tebow and all but after watching this he is genuinely a great person and by far is the best make a wish person I've watched. This put a big smile on my face and I think what the Make A Wish Foundation does is just so heart warming. To give a kid his wish that he's dreamed of and to also make him forget about the pain he's gone through and make them smile is just touching
