I'm seeing a common issue in many new stories - including this one- that seem to be largely written by AI. There are no characters, relationships or emotions that you can empathize with. When combined with the monotone delivery the story is formulaic, flat, predictable and uneventful.

"earth" is a general term given by a northern equatorial tribe of one species that lives on one unimportant planet, to soil. They extended it to their entire planet - and in adjective or adverb form indicting soiled or to soil. However, no species has proprietary or exclusive use of one information pattern for communication. Failure to understand simoe things like this is why humans are unlikely to survive an encounter with sentient intelligent life from another planet.
