not bad, our view from the Rossia, no longer there, was of St Basil's cathedral, the Spasky Tower, and the Church of the Risen Savior to the west. no cinder blocks or satellite dishes cluttering the view, just historic architecture and pollution clotted sunsets...

St Basil's cathedral is on the other side of the Red Square and can not be visible from Ritz, there is no such thing as "Church of the Risen Savior" in Moscow, if you don't like satellite dishes blocking the view - buy a room in Hotel National, it's the building with the dishes that blocks Ritz from Kremlin, and "cinder blocks" identical to the ones you see in the shot (Moscow Hotel to the left) were there before you were born.
Also, that's not pollution, those are rain clouds.
