About the show:
Marimayam is a sitcom aired on Mazhavil Manorama that depicts certain real public incidents that common people come across. This popular comedy show conveys a real picture of government offices in Kerala.
Marimayam uses humour and satire to tug at the red tape that entangles people in rules and regulation. The show highlights sleaze, incompetence and delay in government offices, public and private institutions. The series shows the common man and his woes as he runs from one office to the other in search of a solution to his problems. Sathyasheelan, Koya, Valsala, Mandodari and Syamala, all characters in the show, highlight how red tape often strangles the common man or ties him in knots.

Good thing about the theme is that ,it didn't hurt or insult swami ayyappa. But never shown a character of true devotee is a perfect mistake. If the writer of the script is thinking there is no such true devotee in this world, only one thing to say, 23:46 minutes is not enough to explain the concept of "thathvamasi".

Hats off to Marimayam serious comedy episodes which are depicting the real Village officers activities and the conversations between the officers and the applicant/ petitioner are very natural acting and interesting to view their
face expressions particularly leads to laughing. Finally no work will be completed and they make the complainer a fool. Really a laughing tonic and enjoys everybody. A good episode to watch for mental recreation. Thank you for your selection of good comedy episodes like this and Thatti Mutti also as one of the best comedy episodes....
