Giving her background I can't blame Safi for abusing her power. And, to be fair, Max also abused her powers 10 years ago (like breaking in into the school, for investigating people, rewinding time literally for fun etc etc).
I think Daniel's powers going haywire and wrecking his neighborhood, the gas station, that drug dealer's house, etc. is a little *like* the storm? Maybe it's a smaller scale because he's just a little guy

And for Alex, she didn't really manipulate people that much other than feel their mood, until the end when her REAL extend of her power came out (Alex is very powerful). - We have a time traveller (Max) - We have a telekinesis guy (Daniel) - We have a mind controlling empath (Alex) - And we have a shapeshifter (Safi) To me Max and Alex are the most powerful characters in LiS universe. Talk about a dream team, LOL
Diptych - the new word for me yet I made Diptych myself unaware of the meaning. 1.a painting, especially an altarpiece, on two hinged wooden panels which may be closed like a book. 2. an ancient writing tablet consisting of two hinged leaves with waxed inner sides.
Well that was not only a short episode, but after 4 years of shapeshifting sneaking powers, exposing the teacher was "super easy, barely an inconvenience" to quote ryan george. When the professor tried to spin the plagiarism as inspiration, it felt meta like the writers who are taking the first game and redoing it without copying it.
I told Safi I would hurt her if I needed to. I promised Chloe that I would protect her no matter what, and when it came down to it... I chose Arcadia Bay.. I wasn't going to lie to her. I won't lie anymore.
Just played the first 20minuted of this chapter. I dont trust that usb that she gave Max. I mean, she was mad at her in Vinhs office, when she runned away outside, broke into her home, and in that max with a gun polaroid scene. I dont trust her Besides, isnt shapeshifting usually an evil power ? We l see tomorrow.
