Hi there. I've since sold the A-9937 and I've kept my Mark VI. That Yanagisawa was a nice horn, but something about how all solid silver vibrates never really sat with me well. They say that if you are a dark player, the solid silver will accentuate the darkness of sound, and if you are a bright player it will be the opposite. I think it came down to the highs of the tone that I was hearing as a player and I didn't like as much what the A-9937 was producing for me and my set up. Before giving up your Mark VI try to spend some time with an A-9937 (or A-WO37) first.
