The G.S. clasp in platinum is made in Japan instead of Italy. Interesting. Most of the gold clasps are made in Italy and I wonder why they did this one in house.

I love the Hulk. When I first got into collecting I had no money and I would have never spent the money I would today but I remember seeing a Hulk or several with box and papers for if I remember 10 or 11k. Damn I wish I had bought it then because now it's discontinued it outpaces how much I can save and always seems out of reach. Bummer. Also _finally_ a DeBethune that I actually like, that lapis one. Wow that's a stunner. Finally!
In 2014 I was offered the hulk or black ceramic date Sub and I bought the black one because it was more versatile. At that time their wasn’t the buzz around watches that there is now. Also was only my 2nd Rolex and didn’t take into consideration the anniversary green collectibility either.
I've been offered a Hulk like 3 times, but I didn't want it, since I disliked the look. I bought one from the used market, when they announced they discontinued it - at 14k€
I had a chance to buy a hulk at retail about 4 years ago. Didn't even get on the list. I walked in and it was available in the display case and I passed on it. 4 years later I paid $23k. Hindsight is always 20/20...LOL.
In one of his Watches Tonight, Tim Masso mentioned that mentioning Rolex is the most sure way to get views. I only opened the video to mark it as NOT INTERESTED, ALREADY WATCHED THIS VIDEO. Otherwise, youtube will suppress his other content. It turns out that there is other content in the video as well. But Hul was followed by an explorer, by an APRO and a speedy... How much more repetitive and boring can these videos get?!
