You can use shock traps to instantly power him up for the good hitzones. 😊
Guard dash absolutely procs offensive guard. It pops up all the time for me.
This is making me wanna make a heaven sent + max guard comfy set. Recently I been playing berserk + blood awakening bow and I've been loving it
Man Lance is very fun. It's my 3rd weapons after Greatsword and Isect glaive. Very chill weapon I would say 😂
how do you adjust the direction of your lance? When i guard dash backward and trust, my trust usually go haywire, it more from 12 olock to sometimes 1 or 11 olock from the character
lance is literally a multiplayer saver too, especially with max embolden. the gunners and other users have no idea you are causing damage to a monster when its hitting you plus can pull off anchor rage or sky thrust. my 3rd favorite weapon in rise. LANCE FEELS GOOD.
man you make me want to pick up the lance so badly...
at 11:11 i think it was powder mantle cuz there was 2 damage numbers

So if the lance is the "feel good" weapon, what would a comfy Gun lance be called?
was just what i called this build aha, comfy gunlance would probably just be my normal shelling build its incredibly safe to use once you know how it works
Pyrac have you ever done a 1000 damage gunlance shelling ?
think the highest i got was like 300 icr
I don't know if this is something you've talked about in a different video already, but I would love to see you show off some of the different options you can take following instablock; I always struggle to make proper use of it, especially since it seems like such a massive portion of monsters tend to spam multi-hit moves, where instablock deals with the first one, only for me to get hit by the second one either immediately, or during my follow-up.
Also, is there a specific reason you're using the Amatsu lance specifically? This doesn't seem like a set where you're meant to spam wirebug moves, and it seems to me like there are better options for both raw and elemental lances if you're not going for wirebug spam.
And finally - I've noticed instablock seems to act a bit weirdly when you unsheathe directly into it. Maybe that's what was giving you some issues that one time?
Amatsu lance is used because it fits the theme of the build, satisfying attacks and easy to use, a lot of lances satisfying attacks are from switch skills which all gain a 10% boost from amatsu for example both hits of insta block get the boost as well as skyward and spiral thrusts
@@Pyrac Ahh, I didn't realize it was all switch skills - I thought it only boosted wirebug skills. Thanks; that makes so many Amatsu weapons MUCH more viable than I thought.
@@eivind261093 for reference i tested it with two lances that have the same raw, both neutral affinity and barely any element on the amatsu lance (adds roughly 3 damage to cross slash from elemental motion values) and the damage difference amatsu was roughly 10% higher so im not sure if it was intended to be any switch skills or if i did the math wrong
@@Pyrac Oh, I believe you - absolutely wouldn't surprise me if it was all switch skills! Honestly makes a lot of sense; most weapons make a lot of use of switch skills, but only a few benefit from spamming wirebugs specifically. If it's active on all switch skills, which would include wirebug skills, it would mean it's viable on nearly all weapon types, rather than just a few.
ahahah after 300h i just learned how make a leaping thrust after a back step.... i alway do a back evade + forward guard dash+ leaping thrust, now i know i can just attack back guard dash + leaping thrust for spamming leaping thrust xD
After an attack if you hold back on the movement stick and do the leaping thrust input it'll hop back instead of forward you can use it with the other directions too
@@Pyrac I know that, I just found out it in the training room 10 minutes ago after I posted the message, I forgot that the guard dash could be done from behind, so that’s why I couldn’t do it like you... thx for answer
What dongo would you suggest for lance?
Fighter,Moxie,Booster fighter will help you with doing your charging attacks if you dont have heaven sent 3 active and the other two are just really solid
