Great vid! In fact I didn't know there was such a cloudless sky in southern England, ever! It picked up my spirits. As for the lockdown? As long as they let you cycle you will prevail. Just be thankful you have peeps that recognize the NEED and the backbone to implement such a drastic measure. Over here, the Trumpandemic is raging unchecked; we have no ICU beds in Kansas City but people are STILL running around w/o masks and flaunting social distancing, 5,672 new cases; 34 new deaths and 114 new hospitalizations in the state of Kansas since Monday. So thanks so much for this vids and keeping our spirits up! It is nice to learn about Briain's southern wild pony herd too. Poor Dave.
Brrrr juliet!! Always pop a gilet or windproof layer in your back pocket on these sort of days. From an old codger who's learnt the hard way. Like your vlogs. Stay safe xx
Delightful video. I rode for an hour today, before the rains came. A good bike ride is always a worthy accomplishment. It was windy and warm (22) just north of Boston (USA) . Tomorrow? More like 10.
A friend of mine wanted to meet up today and I procrastinated like crazy about whether to ride or not, eventually a little devil/ angel whispered in my ear , “You have a bike, the weather is autumnally fabulous, what would Juliet do?” So l rode, lucked out with my apparel ( Goldilocks moment) and now feel energised AND relaxed. Thank you for your wonderful videos and for being truly inspirational/ motivational.
It’s definitely a tough time and there are certainly moments of fear and disappointment. I just keep telling myself that this isn’t forever, and I have to look for the positives and not dwell on the negatives. My sister had her first child 4 months ago and I’m missing him like mad, but trying to use video calling, photos and getting out on my bike to feel the breeze through my shirt and see the colours in the leaves and tell myself I’ll get through all of this, rather than dwell on all I’m missing. 💚
Juliet: This is one of my favorite videos of yours. The scenery in this video is incredible! I'm really sad to hear about the lock down. I agree it's non-sense. Take care and thank you so much for this video. It made my day.
Nice English countryside scenery. Even one of those red telephone boxes at 6:28. And, point well taken regarding the windchill factor. For people walking along, the temperature is not a problem, but get up some moderate speed on the bike, and the windchill can be uncomfortable.
I love your videos Juliet. Thank you for sharing. We all get down and pull ourselves back up and it's good to see what that really looks like and not some polished turd instead. I love how I can see how the warm sun feels on your face when your hair whips in front of the camera.
Found your channel recently and really like your enthusiasm and being a fellow roadie/gravel rider I'm really enjoying your content especially since I live not far from you down in Cornwall so it's good to see such brilliant routes only a couple of hours by car from where I live.
Having left TQ2 a few yrs back, I really miss Dartmoor. View out over Lustleigh Cleave is just fabulous. And the beaches... lovely video, keep smiling!
We have Exmoor ponies in Sutton park Birmingham it says on signs not to approach them because they are wild, I saw a girl approach and start stroking one once nothing happened but I noticed how all the other ponies were eyeballing her they all stopped grazing and were just looking at her!
Beautiful, stunning views and ponies what more could you want, apart from warm clothing😁 and yes it's good to get out, even better when there's some sun, does help the state of mind I feel.
Tip for Dartmoor then. Take a few Carrots along to feed the Ponies ! Looks a bit like the Stiperstones in Shropshire up on the top.. Deff take a Gillet out stuffed in the pocket for puncture stops etc .. Should do a Weeks touring holiday off and on road or something next season on the West Coast of Scotland or similar .. !
Noooooo! You shouldn’t feed them, it makes them very aggressive and they come after people trying to get food. They’ve a real problem with it in the New Forest
It has been a while since I've seen a scenery this fabulous 🏞, well done Juliet, you set the example right as to how you manage these stressful and fearsome times; let's adhere to our duty and hope for the best! 🌈🌞🌻
Great vid as always. Stunning scenery. If you ever get to the New Forest again there are loads of ponies. Also check out Cafe Velo in Ringwood. (After lockdown)
Fantastic video ,, Haytor was a massive achievement for me I was very slow but didn’t stop , best feeling ever when you get to top car park ! Keep up the great vids 👊🏼
Amazing park! We are about to enter lockdown again soon too, most likely at least. Unfortunately it is getting really cold here in northern USA of Ohio! Enjoy the weather while you can!
Stay strong and keep riding, Juliet!!! I can totally understand the dread of going into another lockdown...we're just coming out of a second lockdown in Melbourne. It was nice to spend winter at home working on different projects I wouldn't have had time for otherwise, but I really hope that this Covid BS will get sorted out soon! Another fantastic video, thanks for sharing
Fair Play Juliet🚴♀️🚴♀️🚴♀️👍 cycling gives you a brake from the crap in Life Yeah it’s still there when you get back but I ALWAYS feel better after a ride and don’t know anyone who doesn’t 🤪 Then your in a better frame of mind to sort stuff out We need to concentrate on what you CAN DO Not what you can’t ( Advise to myself) and ALL As for your ride what a fantastic route woop woop 🙌 How’s ya wheelies coming on 🤪🤪🤪👍
Cheered me up that short vid. 👏🙅 I live in Sheffield. 👍😷 Can I ask a question. Turbo trainer or rollers which is your favourite for winter indoor training. I'm after one or the other. Cheers. 😍👍
Always great to see you out and about Juliet, my Wife & I are hoping to be down your way in Spring to do some Gravel so any Trail ideas would be great 😎
What a truly wonderful place to ride around, great video once again ........ all apart from blaming poor old Dave for the fact you not taking a jacket with you! Tee Hee.
Another great video to pass the lockdown hours away, glad you are following the lockdown rules while other UA-camrs aren't. You've better weather down there than in the Peak District these last few days, cold and wet and now windy. Are we to expect to see your website soon, you keep pushing Squarespace, is this a hint of things to come ?
Wondering Im gona ride the GB divide, next summer if allowed :) on the way from the Harwich (boat from Holland) gona take the rail to london and then ride to Lands end, just planned till Exeter with lot of gravel, and seeing your vids I like to ask for some nice sections of Dartmoor to add in the road on the way to Lands End?
Lovely ride and great vibes🌈 You can deal with this latest ‘blah’ we are facing I am sure. Stay positive and take another layer with you! It’s November!!!
Take care over there. Lockdown sucks, but you're leaders are doing a better job. There are possible after effects of having covid-19 that could possibly mess up your abilities in your cycling or any activity. Please take care. That was certainly a beautiful ride, sun shining on autumn leaves and through your hair. I hope you can still ride out in the middle of nowhere during lockdown. That pony may be your newest fan. :)
Juliet, awesome vid. I just wanted to ask, how do you train to help get yr legs stronger for the mega climbs please? I find hills difficult, I'm trying to climb as many as possible on my mtb and road bike to gain muscle strength, is there anything else I can do to help pleaee ?
Not really much of a lock down this time around, pubs and restaurants are closed, if you want a new TV you need to buy it online, otherwise it's carry on as normal with a but less traffic!
the longer we deal with this shit, the more obvious it becomes to me [living in amsterdam] that pour air quality is the biggest problem......so please keep your self and your family as well ventilated as posible, so you stay healty and we can enjoy your riding videos again asap ;-)
A new slow record ; brilliant ! I'm reaching new heights of mediocrity daily. Sorry to hear about your bastard lockdown. We've been so blessed here in Oz. I truly feel for you Poms . God bless.
I like your lockdown. Here in France we are not allowed to go over 1 km from home. For one hour. Stupid rule... :'( No rock climbing for me. And I' m fortunate enough to have a nice river with trees and dirt partjs close to home...
Good ride, I find it hard getting out there, but once I'm out I'm fine. I need to get out, I need some interaction from the outside world. Just saying good morning to people helps my soul.
Brilliant video, thank you! I also subscribe to and watch Dave's videos. I think his videos would be better it he man's up with the cycling and quits with the Greggs... His strengths are the mechanics, and solid hard cycling in any discipline. I think he talks too much. But I am a certified moron, so also tell him not to listen to me.
Great vid! In fact I didn't know there was such a cloudless sky in southern England, ever! It picked up my spirits. As for the lockdown? As long as they let you cycle you will prevail. Cracking scenery and weather

Best of luck out there Juliet !!
What a gorgeous little video, happy smiles from OZ 😊👌
Another great pick me up. Cheers Juliet.

What a nice loop with ponies added in as well. Thanks for the video. Take care and stay safe, Al

Squeezed a couple of rides in this week when it was dry and the sun was out. Hadn't been out much lately and it felt so good. x
As always, very inspiring. Thanks so much for the encouragement to get out! Be well!
Wild pony therapy, I like it.
Ponies, cats, monkeys - always something exciting going on.
You did far better than me. 1c and sunny here in the colonies today and I chose to hit the trainer. Tagging along vicariously was nice, though.
Nice ride, love wild ponies .....
I cycled up the Manaton road just a few weeks ago. So much nicer and quieter than the one up Haytor Vale. Just wish i had the same weather as you.
Good to see you riding!👍
The Zipp cockpit is so dope.
Sorry to hear you guys are locked down again. Hang in there!
Found your channel recently and really like your enthusiasm and being a fellow roadie/gravel rider I'm really enjoying your content especially since I live not far from you down in Cornwall so it's good to see such brilliant routes only a couple of hours by car from where I live.
Wow amazing scenery! Lucky you!

you are so lucky to have such a beautiful ride so close to your home and the road look like they are in good shape

Really nice soundtrack 😉👍

@@JulietElliottsChannel ah like "Do not feed the Bears in Yosemite" . good point Juliet !
It’s against National Park by-law to protect ponies and people.
It has been a while since I've seen a scenery this fabulous 🏞, well done Juliet, you set the example right as to how you manage these stressful and fearsome times; let's adhere to our duty and hope for the best! 🌈🌞🌻
I especially love all your rides up to Dartmoor. Absolutely stunning scenery, and the ponies are a bonus!
Great vid as always. Stunning scenery.
If you ever get to the New Forest again there are loads of ponies.
Also check out Cafe Velo in Ringwood.
(After lockdown)
Looks grand round there. One day I'll venture up there, although I am quite spoilt up here in North Yorkshire. Inspiring video. Thanks!
Beautiful scenery and love the wild ponies 👍
I'm riding along with you on this one except I'm on an indoor bike as I have have an lvad and I don't want to get wet over exmoor
Being outdoors is sooo good for my mental well being. Loathe being stuck indoors. Keep up the good work , love watching your videos, better than tv.
Fantastic video ,, Haytor was a massive achievement for me I was very slow but didn’t stop , best feeling ever when you get to top car park ! Keep up the great vids 👊🏼

One of my fave routes! Looks stunning on a sunny Autumn day. 🙂
Great video!!! I love yours channel. Showing incredible landscapes. And biking. From Brazil.
Stay strong and keep riding, Juliet!!! I can totally understand the dread of going into another lockdown...we're just coming out of a second lockdown in Melbourne. Great show, I'm liking your Smith trace helmet, I may purchase
It's wonderful
Love the ride today, great countryside 👍
Stay Positive! The sun was shining. I´m in Denmark-grey on grey.
Stunning ride and great video. Does lock-down mean no more bike rides allowed?
Fair Play Juliet🚴♀️🚴♀️🚴♀️👍 cycling gives you a brake from the crap in Life

Thank you for this new video, it´s awsome!! Great place. I´m planning a bike tour next summer (if it´s possible) and Dartmoor is a very good option.
Fabulous ride! Great weather. You can't blame Dave for your clothing choices though! 😂
Watching your video makes me wanna fly to UK and to go ride with you. 😍Greetings from Curaçao 🇨🇼
What a truly wonderful place to ride around, great video once again ........ all apart from blaming poor old Dave for the fact you not taking a jacket with you! Tee Hee.
Great video as always, stunning views get the thermals on for next ride. Keep safe and look forward to another awesome vid 😀 😊
Hi Juliet- Dartmoor looks great! I'm thinking of moving to Devon and want to be near Dartmoor. Can you recommend any towns or villages nearby? Thanks
Sure! Bovey Tracey would be my choice
Another great video to pass the lockdown hours away, glad you are following the lockdown rules while other UA-camrs aren't. Looks like a great place to ride, but, still not comfortable riding on the wrong side of the road! :)
Wondering Im gona ride the GB divide, next summer if allowed :)

Great place to cycling. I should visit U.K.
Lot of Green places everywhere 😍

After watching that video of that horse biting that cyclist I stay away from horses 😂 Beautiful ride though and I love the videos.
Stroking a baby pony and riding a bike. Does life get any better ? 😀👍
Not really much of a lock down this time around, pubs and restaurants are closed, if you want a new TV you need to buy it online, otherwise it's carry on as normal with a but less traffic!
Wow, I also want to ride on such beautiful roads :D
Juliet Elliott: mother, cyclist, youtuber and... BEASTMASTER

Got two vaccines coming I’m sure the summer will be much better 👍
I realized if you wear your face mask it keeps your face warm.

Does your sponsor pay for your baby sitter while you’re out cycling
