- I sent my broken Yoga Slim 7i Pro X for repairs and it took only about 10 days for it to be repaired. However I was out travelling for another week and now that I'm backed I picked it up and went to test it.

I also got a problem where the laptop would freeze and then restart a couple times a week (AMD version however). After some research on reddit I found out some people solved this problem by changing the Wi-fi card to an intel AX210. I did it and I indeed seems to have solved the problem for the past week I have not had a restart.
So I post this here in case it helps someone. (It seems it is affecting more the AMD version).
However even with this problem I agree it is one of the best windows laptop considering it's price right now. Until now the only downside for me (after fixing the freezing problem) is low battery life compared to a MacBook.
Great that your problems could be resolved so quickly. I have the feeling the old Yoga Slim 7 pro setup was more reliable, since there are so many complaints about the pro x out there.

My own experience, as I have mentioned to you before, with Lenovo was that my P14S Gen 1 touchpad failed a couple of weeks after it arrived from China in April 2021. The repair was prompt, although not quite as fast as yours. It has been fine since then apart from a persistent failure of 'Hibernate' which turns itself into 'Sleep' of its own accord. There have been numerous driver updates, and sometimes I think it has been fixed permanently, but the fault keeps returning. Otherwise, no more problems

Do you have expierenced a plastic-sounded noise when clicking the trackpad, but only in the bottom right corner. I've become my own Slim 7i Pro X today and it's a really nice machine, but i've noticed the described problem with the trackpad.
Yes I do, that's the case with most Lenovo laptops. Pretty much only Mac that don't have the issue. :)
You should nake an update video on how yoga slim is performing now
It's good after the repair but I decided to sell it, couldn't deal with the problem more :)
That was fast, very impressive. Didn't you have an external monitor connectivity issue? Might that have been resolved?
I did have issues with Thunderbolt and one monitor. I will check if the main board change changed this!

There will be new models in spring but I don’t know if they will already release a new slim 7 ProX.

Hi! What is your favorite laptop at this moment? I now have an Asus Vivobook M6500R but it has all kinds of hardware problems. Also the battery life is bad, screen to glosy and to heavy for me. Had the Dell Inspiron 15 7590 based on your video's before and that one was much better. But I was looking for a replacement. Would you still advise the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i pro x? Would be great if you can advise me your experience @w2best
My fav is 100% Macbook Pro with M1 Pro. If you can afford it it's intensely good. :)
