I really hope this release skyrockets this band into the recognition they deserve. Not a single bad track in their entire portfolio, and their evolution is fucking phenomenal.
I agree and a band shouldn’t stay the exact same over the years but personally brother I much prefer their earlier bouncier stuff. This wasn’t really one I could bounce to like stray dogs imo
Man... this band just never misses. Yet ANOTHER BANGER! Album isn't even out and it's already my album of the year, nothing comes close to this.

Man, I can’t put into words my love for this band. 2019 was a difficult year for me but during it all, I had Sever the Cord & their Self Titled EP, that shit carried me. I was devastated when they broke up & then ecstatic when they announced their return. My favorite fucking band. I genuinely hope this release gets them the recognition they deserve, yes there are A LOT of incredible bands in this scene/genre rn but man, I will put this bands discography & evolution up there with any other band. They have just gotten better & better. & I’ll finally be able to see them live in a couple weeks on the Angels & Villains tour in Pomona. Can’t fucking wait for the rest of this album, & for the show. Easily going to hold my #1 spot for Album of the Year this year, no other bands can steal that from these guys 🙏🏼🖤
