If you eat more mango's because of this cutter then buy one of these "big handle spoons". If the mango is good and ripe you can just slide the spoon in under the skin and by cupping the mango half in your hand by basically pressing this spoon down whilst turning it you can work it around between the fruit and its skin really easy with this spoon's handle. I like to quarter mine with the spoon edge first, which also works great as the blunt edge doesn't cut through the mango skin so easily. I've gotten so quick at it that I'll easily slot out 8 mangos halves into a bowl in under one minute. Then I just cleanly eat my pieces with a fork, no fibres in my teeth this way! unless of course you like to salvage the fruit of the ends of the pit, yet always a good reason to need to floss.
