    If her white noise machine works so well then she shouldn't hear the noise the neighbor she has a problem with.

      That's a great point.
      Surprised JJ didn't bring that up.
      It's silly to expect your neighbors to have to use a device to drown out your retaliatory cacophony.

      The sounds she's hearing aren't "real" noises per se. If you've ever lived in an apartment building with elderly people or had elderly relatives in the same situation, they "hear" similar sounds to what this woman was describing. The least little noise -- even the sounds of normal day-to-day living -- becomes a source of irritation. The more irritated they become, the worse the noise sounds to them, and it becomes a vicious cycle where they become obsessed by it.
      By the time of the show, she probably wasn't able to hear the actual noise that Mr Vebot was making. What she was able to hear were the sounds she convinced herself she was hearing; so, the white noise machine worked for her because she convinced herself it worked.

    • @seashellesbelles7232
      @seashellesbelles7232 8 місяців тому +5

      It’s brought up when she’s called back in for making the noise again. She said “You can’t mask impact noise with anything.” It will be in another part. Stay tuned.

      She used to smile a lot in all the old episodes and she would let people speak and wouldn’t shush them. These were the first episodes. Something happened to her (life happens) and she changed the way she does the show. Maybe the people behind the scenes… for ratings… who knows. But if you see a 25 year old show and the more recent ones, they are day and night.

    I had no idea white noise machines even existed back then… I get sick when I have a fan on, but I can never sleep because of the noise not being on. So basically five years ago I finally figured out that they sold these white noise machines. I am completely in shock that these existed in 1996. This would’ve helped my sleep my whole life. Lol I am Trippin by the way I love my white noise machine/sound machine. Everyone should get one if they love the noise of a fan.

    I am surprised JJ didn't stop the defendant from quoting other people by saying "don't tell me what they said!"

  • @dougmurray3692

    The problem with deferring to examples when taking action, is that we don't align contexts. Defendant's actions, in protest to "injustice", creates not only injustice conditions for others, but also causes defendant to reflect the same violation in a "good" way. See what she's really doing??
    You don't fight fire with fire, you strategize against it and act to eliminate it, not increase the size of the blaze. You also don't TAKE an eye for an eye, you make people whole by ensuring both see more clearly with both eyes. Any form of "get back at" is no response to reducing a problem - not if you want the problem to; mitigate, reduce, adjust toward solution. There are no sides "to every story." Sides are created to ensure there is 'opposition',:rather than connection and compliment. Until we stop opposing each other, we won't solve the negative 'side' of human relationships, as a whole. We will repel each other. Selfishness is the root, to whatever degree we volunteer ourselves to and then effect others.
    And yet, here we have a judge who mediates 2 sides to come together - each standing in opposition. The system is rigged by design, by deferral to rules and conditions, that spawn more insurance toward people not getting along than coming together. The solution? Many. But you need better eyes and lots of work to fix it. Where is the problem? EVERYWHERE!Places, and practices, rulesets and agents of authority, laws and "policies" and how they are allowed to interact - it's a huge problem/issue; parenting, education, how we talk to each other, selfishness, lack of charity and compromise, rigged thinking through religion, selective enforcement, rights of the person over human rights, deception, broken agreement, lack of trust, linear thought, mandates, non-disclosure - government and corporate, busy-ness (which is why you are pushed to have a busi-ness. Catching on?), no penalty for political promises that are presented as of they are intents that will be fulfilled as verbal agreements. Should I stop now? Would do have such a lack of knowledge that you'd call me a "theorist"? Show me the person who would call me a conspiracy theorist', and I'll show you someone who has no awareness b/c they research nothing. Let that sink in a little bit and know that that response too was programmed into the responder. It's no coincidence that people take sides when facts are provided.
