OMG. .. This is great. What a special upbeat cheerful performance of this song. Of course with some Home Free humor in it. Yes, this really makes my day! And I admit, the boys really look amazing!!!
What a great remake of Roy Orbison's classic song. I remember the cover Home Free did on the "Sing Off". This one is even more fun. Love the 50's-60's pompadour hairstyles & great outfits. Great song & video. The guys really rocked this!
Sure has been fun following Home Free the last 5 years (for me) I know there are many on here who have been trailing them for a very long time. They really are the only group I have been following of the last 5 years, period.
The capability of excellence by each of the individuals in this group is off the charts awesome that allows them the flexibility to do so many types of vocalizations and to do it exceptionally well. I have not found a genre they are afraid to tackle whether individually or as a group they are amazing. Then top that off with their arrangements that augment the presentation to be "Home Free" owned. ❣

I used to listen to Roy Orbison in my younger days and I always loved this song and the boys killed it! I would also love to see them do a remake of the entire song I Want Crazy, I love that song. Good reaction! I didn't discover HF until abt 3.5 yrs ago, so them winning The Sing-Off was no surprise. But I did feel that their rendition of O Pretty Woman showed how much HF was not a one-trick pony.

I love that they are remaking those songs. I really hope they do "Ring of Fire" too. I like the version with Avi, but my favorite has always been the one they did on "The Sing Off".
I think this is how they would have done it on The Sing-Off if they'd had the time to really work up a "proper" arrangement instead of having to get it done in a week. There were a few small changes, but it was still really good.

Hey, Dennis! I’m back as a subscriber again. Sorry I left awhile back. I tried scaling back a bit, but I love Home Free and you’ve been showing up in my feed, and I felt bad that I left. Anyway, these guys never disappoint! I kind of think they had it in the bag with Ring of Fire, but I do agree that Pretty Woman was really good as a whole. It could have most likely won Jewel over after Austin sang to her! Lol They definitely deserved the win. Love this re-recording. Love the breakdown bit with the tripping over the cords. I cracked up the first time I watched. Very excited to hear the rest of the album. I’ve ordered the bigger bundle because I wanted the vinyl and the photo book, too! Looking forward to seeing your future reactions for the album ( and past that).
So much fun. I laughed so hard at those pink jackets. Chance's Orbison glasses are a great touch. And Rob's growl was perfection.

Bye bye bye was the song they had to prepare for the sing-off just in case they were voted off. Each group had to sing a song on their way off the show. Thankfully they didn’t have to use it!!!!
they spiced it up a little and its BETTER....Roy Orbison hit was in 194 !! released Aug 15th, right as The Beatles were topping the charts, this song was a 3 week chart topper in late August
I'm so excited for this album! There are minor changes to the arrangement of this, like Tim saying Mercy instead of Austin. They did say the arrangements will be slightly refreshed, which I love!

You have more of Tim and Adam in this version which makes it even better than the Sing Off. Love the video and the Sha Na Na style but those jackets made both Adam and Chance look 20 pounds heavier for some reason. I agree about a full version of I Want Crazy but now that they have done a Doobie Brothers cover I want them to cover Sweet Home Alabama. I think Adam would go amazingly crazy on that just like he did on Listen to the Music and Do You Hear What I Hear.
And Chance and Austin sound fantastic together……

I loved the late Roy Orbison & still love all his music (esp. "In Dreams") and I think he'd be pleased with their rendition of his hit. I love the suits and pompadours but I wish they'd shown us the back of their hair (especially Adam & Austin - I can't imagine what they did with all of it!). Of course the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are perfect - they always are!

This is definitely better than the Sing Off version... it's the only song they did that was not topnotch. I'm a big Orbison fan and they did him proud this time.

I was hoping for Merry Little Christmas with Jewel on this album. But sadly no.
I am looking forward to I Want Crazy. Really hoping they capture the energy from the show. Their studio recordings are a bit too smooth. Rob especially sounds better when it’s a concert. A bit more zing.

Answers in the title "as seen on TV" I believe it will be the Sing Off Arrangements on each with HF adding more fun more humor in the Visuals maybe a bit of wish fulfillment knowing what they know now. What you think was "music playing in the background" was actually their voices - no instruments are used in acapella music.

The album comes as a CD or vinyl and there's a picture booklet of behind the scenes shots. Next video out is Life is a Highway and it is hilarious!
I have their version from The Sing-Off in my music library. There is something about all those girls screaming for Austin that just adds to it.

Austin needs to cut the nasal! 90% great...then 10% nasal. He can hit the high cleanly without the nasal.
