Koules Fortress Heraklion Crete, Greece 🇬🇷

Tour of Koules Fortress, (Rocca a Mare) built by the Venetians and overlooking the city of Heraklion, was started in 1460 and completed in 1540 against the Ottoman Turks. In 1640, the fortress helped to protect Heraklion.
