This is one of my favorite bands, and this is one of their best tracks. Each DCD album has a distinctive vibe, which gets only better thru their amazing career. Thanks for reacting to them and hopefully you'll keep listening 🧡
Originally from Australia in 1981.. the time of a great musical renaissance that heralded other great artists like Rowland S Howard, Nick Cave, David McComb, Robert Forster and Grant McLennan to name but a few. Sadly at this time, all these artists weren't appreciated in their own country and as such found success in the U.K and Europe
Host of Seraphim, Yulunga, The Ubiquitous Mr.Lovegrove, Song of the Sibyl, The Lotus Eaters, Cantara (live) - all by Dead Can Dance are incredible. Also Lisa Gerrard's song 'Space Weaver' is beautiful.
This song is one of my all time favourite DCD songs, from the first album of theirs I first heard many years ago, Spiritchaser. Loved seeing your reactions!
Wow I am glad I found you two. You are very fun and insightful and offer a new perspective for the "reaction scene". I promise to become a patreon soon. In the meantime I am an instsnt fan. Keep having fun and may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
You guys honestly have to listen to "Host Of The Seraphim",completely out of this world. You did a reaction to 3 more DCD numbers not long ago,but they were really not the best songs to represent this incredible band (and personally not my faves). Or perhaps try Lisa Gerrard & Pieter Bourkes "Sacrifice",and you'll understand why she is regarded as a goddess when it comes to singing.
Try "The Host of Seraphim" by Dead Can dance. Absolutely with a fragment of the movie "Baraka" (here ua-cam.com/video/qdP32gL_40s/v-deo.html). You will be moved to tears.
Lisa Gerrard is absolutely amazing and has a beautiful voice her range is incredible. The host of seraphim the original video is my favorite
I agree Host of Seraphim is a vocal masterpeice!

Ubiquitous mr Lovegrove! No DCD song is ever as catchy and groovy as that one! Seriously you have to listen to believe it!

I know Sweet Lullaby, it's a great song. And great DCD reaction, Song Of The Stars is wonderful.
Please, *PLEASE* check out "In Power We Trust the Love Advocated," it may well be the most underrated and beautiful love song ever recorded.
That's one of my favorite DCD songs. Absolutely beautiful.

Don't forget to listen to Ofra Haza - Love song (Live at Montreal) for the best live version which is nothing but her voice. It's very spiritual.

I always imagined native American Indians doing a ritual dance mimicking movements of insects and then in flight.
Homage to a mothman?
Interesting. A bit reminiscent of Jim Morrison in parts then early Pink Floyd in others. Cool.
you should also listen to Cantara by them.
You should do some of Lisa's solo stuff like Sacrifice and Sorrow, very haunting.
