Usually people always kill this boss during the first time it descents to the platform. In the first phase he usually never does it at all. I usually see that attack when you fail to kill him after his first descent like what happened in this video.
Idk what you're talking about yet because I'm not there in the video yet, but it may be a rare one that's also only provoked when standing in a specific spot at a specific time, meaning some people see it more
Sometimes I think about if lobos took me on as his apprentice of speedrun/challenge run.I'd live with him and Fieldy and play DaS every day,Fieldy would make us hat dags and eventually I'd become the chosen one, breaking away from lobos to the dark side, apprentice to the Dark Emperor Noobest.I'd get world best at the cost of my humanity, and lobos would kill me for a required pvp kill for one of his runs,he had the high ground.
I really like when boss arenas have like a fencing like the tombstones and slightly too steep but low cliffs in Sif's lair, high walls + camera can suck a lot
That said, the optimal way to fight Sif still involves the occasional camera spasm on Sif's body.. Risk and reward is fundamental to an epic boss fight, but don't like it if it's risky because reasonable agency has been taken away from the player. It's still less risky anyway, sometimes you just get screwed over.
It would be cool if you did the low level one shot challenge where it works like if u one shot a unique enemy example black knight u get a point and if u one shot a boss u get 2 points and two shoting a bosss gives 1 point and vegeta113 made this challenge and he tells how the point system works but instead of using pyromancies except power within and to make more challenging by using miracles to buff ur weapon tumblebuff moveswapping is all allowed and u can lvl up but there s a point system which vegeta113 explains any method can be used so get creative
People don't like the adaptability system. They got too used to the dodging system of DS1 and DS3, which is mostly timing based, that they couldn't catch up with the combat system of DS2, which is mostly positioning based. I think some people played DS2 without ever realizing how important positioning is and they focused mostly in leveling up ADP. DS3 is the biggest one to blame, I believe, because it is the game where positioning matters the least.
I am going to be honest, getting hit mid rolling animation was very annoying for me when I first played DS2 after DS1, but it is more realistic. That's one of the reasons why people like DS2 pvp, you will rarely see spam rolling idiots, and when you see, they will get severely punished.

I got a black knight halbred early on in my first play through. Never looked back from that. Such a great weapon.

Lol you serious ? I saw that in my first ever fight with it. Maybe you killed it too fast hahahah :)

Real challenge would be do all this NOT without estus, but WITHOUT RTS!!!!!!
There is always a bigger challenge, but at some point it just gets exhausting for Lobos + audience.
What does RTS mean?
Rares Macovei late reply but it means red tearstone ring
You know what would be a bigger challenge? Fists only NG+7. But nobody would watch something so boring and long.
