I got this same setup nearly! GTX3071r with all the upgraded goodies like u got w same color SURE intake!! ATVFreek aka Justin been tuning my car for months now :) I always be upgrading something lol. Keep em coming!

i thought stock turbo got like 15-16 psi 21 psi isnt much bigger. the hp number is good man like 100 higher than stock though niiiiiceee
impossible 22psi is 22psi, with all other things being equal. Where the bigger turbo gains, is the higher rpm. Its more efficient, therefore the air temps are lower, and it doesn't drop boost like the k04 does at higher rpms. People want to say the bigger turbo moves a larger volume of air at 22psi, this is false if its pumping through the same duct the smaller turbo also used. The only way to increase volume to the receiving unit, is to either increase boost, or increase duct size.
I dont think i'll be re-writing anything. you can not push more air through an object by using a larger compressor, IF you keep the psi constant. the larger compressor comes in to play when the object taking in the pressure is using more than the smaller compressor can efficiently create. I'm not disagreeing that the larger turbo makes more power, but the ko4 cant keep up with the engine at high rpms. It simply starts blowing hot air. Im saying your argument to the OP is invalid. 22psi isnt 22psi makes no sense. the pressure and the cavity its flowing through has not been changed. Unless you're saying that a turbo on an internal combustion engine works differently than any other fluid/air flow situation. You don't have to believe me, but you can call a local company that deals with air or fluid dynamics, talk to an engineer, and he/she will tell you the exact same thing.

A 2871 is not big at all... My buddy has a MazdaSpeed6 with a GT38r turbo which is 66mm and boosts 31psi, not big at all. Not hating, but your title is false as fuck.
doens't make the title false dude, if one get's an aftermarket turbo which in fact is bigger than than the stock turbo.. which is the little K04... than it is in fact Big turbo... Get it.. he didn't say BIG ASS TURBO, or BIG FUCKING TURBO.. so chill
