    Your main page is fun to watch. I love watching you guys out in the wild. With that said, THIS channel is absolutely one of the most useful reselling business pages on UA-cam. This series should absolutely be required viewing for anyone looking for "boots on the ground" REAL talk.

    I used a printer not label one. Of course need to buy paper and ink every few months. But it works for me I average 4-6 sales a day. I am only part time seller if the store expands then I will of course get label machine it will be way quicker and cost effective if my orders for to 10-15 a day and so on

      You’re at about the point where a label. Printer is probably better. If you get new ink 4x a year then you break even in ink in under 2 years and years 3+ the label printer makes $150-250/year profit

    I just wanted to say how great and helpful this series has been. I've considered reselling retro and other stuff as a side hustle in the future and this series has made it so much simpler to understand and so much less intimidating. Also makes you really respect and appreciate Chase and the boys getting their business up so strong looking at how hard it's been for profit in this series so far. And one more thing to love about Brother Dave is that he always brings back the wacky mixed bag hauls when he goes searching solo lol

    Regarding your dead hummingbird battery - devices like that usually stay plugged in all the time which kills the battery eventually if it doesn't get to charge cycle. If the voltage gets too low the charging circuit will not recognize the battery. You can bump the voltage up enough to get it to charge by connecting it BRIEFLY in parallel with another battery of the same voltage - such as the other hummingbird battery. I did this with a dead garmin airplane gps a few months ago and got the battery up to a... decent life after a few full charge/drain cycles. Luckily you work alongside Matt the Engineer who should be able to help you out with this!

    Hey Guys... I have been binge watching every episode ... I wanted to give you guys a tip ... to hopefully help with saving some money on supplies... I am not sure if anyone ever mentioned it ... I do not know if they do it there where you are but here... You can actually call your local walmart in the evening (around 8 when night shift comes in) and ask them to save you boxes ... they won't be blank boxes but you can always spilt them and turn them inside out and use them... or you can use them for storage or your items you have listed... It's just a thought... Plus ... I know you seem to only be sourcing from Garage/Yard Sales and Pawn Shops ... but if you want a computer that won't break the bank... A lot of times you can catch new laptops on clearance when the newer models come out ... or you could look into a tablet and a bluetooth keyboard ... won't be too expensive and would make it easier for listing quicker ...

    I would say to just expand it to 6 months instead of 3, or increase the weekly hours you can do on it, but idk how feasible that is since obviously these are hours where you aren't gonna be working for Chase, so he'd have to math out if the good content outweighs not having 2 of his employees for 15-20 hours a week etc. Even then though, I'm not sure doubling the hours you work will actually be enough to reach 5k profit in 3 weeks lol

      It’s like the discord, they don’t actually have to pay to be a part of it because it’s their own discord but just using it without factoring in the cost would not be legit.
      Gotta respect the fact they are attempting to keep it realistic.

    • @HTXVintageVibes
      @HTXVintageVibes Рік тому +1

      I don’t have a UA-cam channel. My wife has been full time for just over 7 years and I have been working for the business the last year after getting laid off. I will say it was better when one of us worked for benefits and a set amount weekly. That being said we’ve been fine otherwise. Been slow for summer, but picking back up again. Last year gross was just over 120K our selling fees, supplies and shipping is roughly 30% (40K) and profit was about 60K after taxes and everything. We get “home run” items that skew the percentages a few times a month. Last few was a 700$ sealed Pink Floyd album I got in a lot for about 10$ a 900 1960 #3 Barbie in a dirty bag of vintage Barbie stuff for 50$
      Mind you this was just eBay we did another 27K on marketplace.
      It was easier 7-8 years ago to find crazy stuff. Competition has gotten a lot crazier (in Houston Texas) however we have relationships with sellers (estate sales, storage units, collectors) that reach out to us. We have not stepped foot in a thrift store in lik 2-3 years and garage sales are hit or miss here. We make our money thru knowing the right people after years of putting in the work. We have a 300$/month storage and work out of a 2nd room in our condo to list/ship/et cetera. It’s so able, but you have to work for yourself. A lot of people will work harder for other people because they are held accountable. When you have to do it yourself no one is gonna fire you/ get on your ass about it. We started part time like this with 200$ after 6 months she went full time and we built that 200$ into around 4000 cash and about 7500 in inventory. (invested every dollar back in and just did it on weekends and shipped on the way to work/ lunch break packed at night)
      You can do it, but you can’t quit your job and start from zero. Need capital and knowledge. I’m sure UA-cam helps for sure. The most successful people selling are not showing on UA-cam to be honest.
