Bowling Planet has returned from a 3 week hiatus! I haven't made a solid schedule yet as mentioned in the video but I hope this video makes up for the lost time!
I worked at a PBA event for FloSports, that (Johnson I think? The younger guy?) was a huge douche. Got into a big argument with some other player. he drove me crazy because he talks like a college chad.
Pete is one of those rare cases where extreme competitiveness meets extreme skill thats why I think PDW is the greatest ever, the only person who could ever hold him back was himself.
PDW shouting, "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I AM!" will forever be one of the most hilarious moments in bowling. I laugh my ass off every time I see a clip of him saying that.
I'm pretty new to the bowling scene but that Weber guy just makes me laugh so much. His demeanor fits perfectly with his looks which is funny to me, idk why.
2:36 that doesnt even sound like a celebration scream. he looks like he is in a movie like X Men origins wolverine where his wife died and he looks up and screams
I really like the moment at 7:25 Belmo acknowledging the challenge of bowling pdw. Whether you like him or not, you cant deny his talent over decades of bowling at a professional level.
2:37 and here, you can hear the sound of the wild rash’s mating cry it is worth noting that the only sounds in the creature’s vocabulary are sounds akin to the human “YEAH”, “BABY”, and “WOOO”.
That's great😂 you know there's bound to be some bowlers that legitimately don't like some of their rival bowlers. Kinda like the whole Belmonte-Rash rivalry, you get the feeling it's not an act for the cameras.
Pete Weber is one of the major reasons I started bowling. My whole family bowled on a league when I was little and I always thought about how I wanted to bowl too and then the PBA came on television my dad called me in and Pete weber was on there and ever since then I was hooked. I was actually known as the Pete Weber of my high school bowling team because I am a very emotions all in kind of bowler like he is. My teammates actually made me a Pete Weber bowling pin for my graduation.
@@kylemc8851 Oh I already did and found that you are an asshole who likes to ruin the childhood memories of innocent people just because you have no one who loves you so you hate on people who have more than you just to get your rocks off. Go mess with someone else because I’m not the one.
We REALLY need a part 2 to this! I've watched this over and over again and i need more and there's so many other moments i can think of that would be good! :)
And his shot really never changed. He loved to stand right and pipe it up the right gutter. Had a very simple shot, easy to replicate time and time again. One of the few advantages to being a lower rev bowler. Rarely tried to hook the lanes
Thank you for putting up these vids, I grew up in junior leagues bowling idolizing these players and was fortunate to have Randy Peterson and Doug Kent as my coaches when I bowled in the juniors at West Hollywood lanes .thank you again
What's awesome about all of these clips is my coach on lessons Sunday mornings discouraged lane courtesy as a way for us to focus on our shots. Initially it felt weird walking up on the approach on Chris and Linda Barnes but like true professionals, you're in the zone the second you set your fingers in the ball. After a few times it felt kinda cool just getting my ball wiping it, setting up and destroying the pins realizing CB was right next to me and left a solid 10 :DDDDDDD Won't lie the Barnes are some of the best people you could ever come across and getting compliments from both of them on my style and accuracy when I was debating going Pro was all I needed. Sadly we moved the same year and bowling became too infrequ
Forgot all about Brian Voss, he can be quite the energetic guy when fired up. Also I was expecting to see Ciminelli's "Redemption Baby!" and Barrett yelling after winning the World Championship. But either way I enjoyed the video.
