The song is typical Folk Rock and the lyric like the common message of the day- protest against tyranny and discontent. However, this message provides an answer to the age old question "What is the Meaning of It All"-- Jesus the Son of God, oh, oh you're the one.
Selah is a band comprised of students of California Baptist College 1974-1976, directed by the Baptist Student Ministries to provide concerts in local churches to promote the college. Their ministry used music, testimony and drama to convey their message of Jesus Christ; focusing on the Christian life lived in personal relationship with Christ. Their music style is derived from the influence of the Jesus Movement in the 70's. Most of their music is original or covers from music by known or unknown sources.
