If you are a beginner then I highly recommend face paint stencils. You can also buy TAG multicolor cakes. If you have a wet semi circle sponge, you can press it on the cake and get a premade gradient of colors. If you combine these tips you will look experienced.
I watched this video when I first started face painting in 2019 and wow I’ve come so far! I can now do Spider-Man, sunsets, butterfly, unicorns and many more.

How long should I wait foe paint to dry before layering another color on it? For example I want to make a zebra so I'll make the white first, but I don't know when to put the black stripes on

All the paints I used in this video are from Snazaroo. I bought an empty palette from a face painting shop and put them inside it. Wolfe FX do amazing small face paint palettes though if you are looking for a palette. x

What brand of face paint do you use?
I use a lot of different brands such as Cameleon, TAG, Global Colours, Diamond FX and Wolfe FX. But in this video I used all Snazaroo paints as I wanted to show paints which are really affordable x

Hiya, my face painting brushes are from a variety of places and brands, such as Loew Cornell, Mehron Paradise, Grimas, Mark Reid and Funky Foxes. Most of the brushes I used in this video were from Loew Cornell, or an arts and crafts shop. I usually buy my face paint brushes from Face Paints Direct :)

It's worth practicing on a piece of paper if you are totally new to painting, however you can still be good at face painting without being good at drawing. Hope this helps!
