We filmed this on February 2nd when this song came out, but UA-cam blocked it. It's been on our Patreon since that time. We tried to post it again this week and for some reason it was not blocked this time. It is NOT Mrs. Coach's birthday...unless you happen to watch this on February 2nd. 😂
it's gotta be the copyright thing with Universal Music Group with LANY, an American artist that was having strict copyright issues with his business partner which is UMG, and I mentioned LANY because they did a remix of this song so, thats why your video got hit with copyright that time.
@@lark_0 Very interesting. Thanks for sharing that info. We haven't had many issues with non-live versions of K-pop so this one surprised us when it was blocked.
It's hard to fully appreciate this music unless you're a fan of TWICE. There are so many hidden meanings in both the song's lyrics and its music video. That's why this song was released as a pre-release before the official album. TWICE is one of the most successful K-pop groups of all time, with numerous K-pop records under their belt. However, things haven't always been easy for them. They've had a very difficult and harsh journey. There are always jealous people around successful people, and since TWICE was one of the most popular groups, they were deliberately targeted, with fake rumors being created and spread about them. They even faced threats of physical violence and dxxth. As a result of these numerous incidents, two of the TWICE members had to take a temporary hiatus due to anxiety disorders. It was a very unfortunate and serious situation, and many people wondered if they would ever return. However, while they were going through a difficult time, the rest of the members took care of them, helped them, and encouraged them. Ultimately, they were able to overcome their anxiety disorder and return to the team. After learning these stories, listening to the song, and watching the music video, we can realize many things. Look at the first scene in the music video, where the girl is watching the storm and then looks at the other girls and smiles. This is 'Mina', one of the members who took a hiatus. This scene implies that she overcame the pain and hardship (the storm) with the help of the other members. In another scene, the girl standing alone in front of the lighthouse with an anxious expression is 'Jeongyeon,' another member who took a hiatus. This scene also represents her struggles with anxiety disorder. In the next scene, two other girls tie each other with a 'red string.' This 'red string' is one of the most popular Asian myths, symbolizing fate and connection. It means that if two people are connected by a single red string, they are destined to be together. In this music video, the red string is constantly shown, and you can see that it's connecting the girls. When the storm stops and the sky clears, the girls get on the boat, laughing and having fun together, symbolizing that they have overcome hardships and are moving towards a bright future. If you then take another look at the lyrics, you might realize that they also represent these situations. TWICE's music is mostly happy, bright, and upbeat. For some, it may feel bubbly or even childish, so it might not be to everyone's taste. This is because it differs from the mainstream music in the West. However, even though TWICE has become one of the most successful and popular K-pop groups, they always show gratitude and humility toward their fans, staff, and everyone around them. This is one of the reasons why they have gained immense popularity not only in Asia, but also in Europe and the U.S., helping them become one of the top 3 most popular groups today.
Great comment. Thanks for providing some backstory to this one. It makes sense it was special to the fans, and to the group. We are still surprised, although we shouldn't be, at just how much hate is directed at people online, such as you mention this group faced. It's senseless and can be harmful. That's why, even when something doesn't resonate with us, we always try to show respect to the talent and work ethic it took to create that art.
As this has finally been uploaded to UA-cam, it would be good to now do the killing voice of twice to see how amazing they are even if you’re not a fan of the song. Which is understandable as everyone has different tastes. 😊
We do plan on doing that one after we do Red Velvet's Killing Voice, as we're curious to get a bigger sample of their sound. We actually both really liked their "Cry For Me" which was the very first one from them we saw, and Mrs. Coach does enjoy them probably a good bit more than Coach, but as you noted, everyone does have different tastes, and that is OK.
❤❤❤❤ more Twice reactions 🎉🎉🎉 ❤one spark 👍👍👍 ❤ Japanese album Dive ❤ Twice Nayeon ABC ❤ Twice Tzuyu ❤ Twice MiSaMo Love the lyrics, melody and the message of the songs 😍
I need a raise if I have to comment on every video Twice! ;) As it is, I get minimum wage - $0.00 - so.... I'm still setting up my new computer because Windows 11. :( - not all progress is good. Twice is a survivor, which is a testament to their cohesiveness as a group, and their talent.
Not liking the song's fine, but some of these takes are pretty bizarrely reductive/narrow-minded. Anything animated automatically equals "kiddy stuff"?
No, everything animated is not kiddie stuff, there is plenty of adult animation. That sequence looked very out of place and did not fit the rest of the video, and in our opinion, completely broke the flow of the song and video. We perceive it as targeted at a younger market, which is fine, but it really didn't flow well.
