ABOUT ME:
I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.
Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.
I started the UA-cam channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.
In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on UA-cam which i am extremly proud of.
I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.

This is what golf mates is all about good company so so golf but a story too tell about a couple of lads enjoying golf starting as strangers leaving as friends!!! Had the privilege of playing the Carrick loch lomond about 8 years ago. Stunning course scenery was incredible. 14th 15th stunning views and some beautiful water feature holes to start. Pricey but worth every penny.
Beautiful scenery....and two great golf courses! How I would have loved to have played in the UK, Scotland and Ireland....medical problems forbid me from flying anymore...but I love seeing it through your camera!!
Really nice Vlog Liam. Two great course I used to play in my golfing days, in the Dumfries area near Powfoot. Newton Stewart GC and Kirkudbright GC, both very friendly and welcoming clubs.

Liam. I am Sir Kirkland of Byar(s). My relatives wee from central Scotland and they fought with William Wallace. A byar is a cattle shed. So Byars is many cattle sheds. Beautiful pastures there.

Sitting in my hotelroom in Scotland on a golftrip waching. Been playing for four days and will keep playing for the rest of the week. Been her once or twice a year sinse 2009. Love everything. Single malt next this evening. Keep videos komming.

the carrick is not loch lomond! not a patch on it, plus the real one has views and you play next to the loch the carrick is boring
Great Vlog Liam, we played Powfoot on last years golf trip, and yes it is a quality course. When we got there, the steward and stewardess used to look after us at our home course in Bedlingtonshire.
If you do nowt else in your golfing life, you must go and play Silloth, utter class.

Liam, I am so envious of you and Rob. what a great video (love to see more of it). My favourite place ever to visit Loch Lomond. That course is definately going on my list to play.

Great vid Liam. Powfoot was always on our list during our Scotland trips and is a great course. Always fancied Silloth on Solway and got to play it last year. What a course, one you should make the effort to play
I was playing golf in Scotland today too. ..Well,....like... I was on the golf course, ....but the stuff I was playing could barely be called "golf". All the skill and subtlety of a train crash. Absolutely diabolical.

I played Powfoot open a couple of years back when I had one good hip. I was poor but tbf I was in a lot of pain. Now that I’ve got myself sorted it’s high time I returned.

Powfoot is a beautiful course. Played it. My brother and his son used to play it too. Scotland is just beautiful though!

Awesome. Next time you come, get to Musselburgh golf club it’s an open qualifying venue but parkland and awesome, plus Musselburgh old links which is the oldest course in the world even more so than St Andrews.
I am at Musselburgh golf club mate. Not one at the old Links but it’s cheap as chips to play and about 2 mins from my house

Well done Rob and co. Liam, if there ever was a video to inspire people to play golf, this would be it. Great golf, company and there is nothing like golf in Scotland. Absolutely brilliant. 2 years ago I stayed in Silloth, the course is on a par with West Lancs. I looked at another place to play, wanted Powfoot, but as you know, it's a bit of a drive around the estuary, didn't have time. Love the look at that hidden gem. Would love to play it one day. Watching this video filled me with joy, love the music too. Well done mate 👍
The Carrick has some stunning holes Liam but can suffer when it rains (can do that in Scotland from time to time😂), the fourth is one of the best holes i have ever played. You are most welcome to come and play my home course anytime, Largs Golf Club, #AyrshiresAugusta...
I was incredibly fortunate to be a member at the Carrick for a year, It's just a beautiful course and a cracking locker room. Also loved Powfoot and would love to play there. Thanks for the great videos, Liam, your taking the quality of them to a new level.

This video brought back some memories I played Powfoot in the morning before I got married 12 months ago great course and very friendly staff. I also used to be a member of the old Pike Fold before moving away from the UK. Awesome keep it up Liam

You certainly can't beat those views on the UK Mainland but I'm sure The Emerald Isle has as many good courses with spectacular scenery. Perhaps you should get people to e-mail their favourite course and then you take a lucky dip and take a trip and do a full 18 hole vlog. My recommendation (although I've never played there), is Killorglin Golf Course, County Kerry, Ireland. There is also another course about 5 miles away called Dooks (A Links course).
Great video Liam I'm lucky enough to stay in central Scotland. Played a course called Edzell about 60 miles north east from where I stay .Moray old course is a links course you should try if you ever get the chance that's in lossiemouth

Looked like a fantastic course to play. Should of stopped off at Longhirst Hall golf course in Morpeth Northumberland its a great little course.
Makes me wish I could go to Scotland, the birthplace of golf. Not easy or cheap from America. Maybe someday....

Scotland is a fantastic place, visited twice once for golf and the second time a booze trip. Really enjoyed this video, simple to watch and the enjoyment also showed through on the vlogg. I wanted to see the bomb creater!!!
I've played a few courses around Scotland, every one of them was in immaculate condition. Even cheap green fee courses.

Powfoot great course played it about 4 years ago on a trip around west coast. Dumfries ect. I would love to play again. Well played Liam some good golf there golf mate.

Go play Silloth, it is amazing. The hospitality is first class, course is the best I’ve played and the food is 👌🏻 Stay over at the Queens for the full experience as well haha. It’s a bizarre town. It would make a great vlog. I’m deffo going back next year from Leeds.

Great video Liam, I played Powfoot a few years ago in summer when the fairways were rock hard, 220 5 irons, hit it 170 and it rolled the rest, no driver needed.😂 That was good as I am crap with it anyway.
