(2003 Playoffs) Powell Valley at Gate City

In a highly anticipated loser-goes-home rematch, the undefeated Gate City Blue Devils (10-0) host the 8-3 Powell Valley Vikings in the first round of the playoffs.
Gate City would go on to smash Essex in the state finals, capping off a sensational 14-0 season.
The very next year Powell Valley would also go on to the state finals, dropping a heartbreaker to Manassas Park.

Graham is #1 in SWVA. The Glen Carlock era alone won 8-10 state title's. Respectfully putting GC/PV not far behind

@@TheLoneWolf276 Well Appalachia has 6 state titles in 71, 89, 92, 94, 96 and 97. Gate City has 5. The biggest game in LPD football was between the Dawgs and Vikings. So that would put Appy and PV 1 and 2 and Gate City 3.
