As always there are two and only two people I associate Gw2 with you and Wooden Potatoes. I will forever be sad this never made its way onto console's as it is literally the perfect mmo for console play. Thank you for such a well done review. It makes me miss Gw2 far less @Kroof. I've been waiting for this one! I love Mesmer, but I struggled with the main-hand sword in melee, so I usually played condi builds. But this seems much more my style for a power build. Thanks!
Personally I fell in love with the Mirage/Spear combination, the animation for the Ambush Spear skill looks nice and it also let's you stack 25 Vulnerability in just a second. Paired with the 15% damage buff you're actually doing pretty well as a Mirage/Spear class. If you pair it with Sword/Sword you got another on-demand Daze, additional defensive options (Blur & Block) and another way to stack Might quickly. Greatsword is obviously another great option but I prefer being in the thick of it.
Great guide and review! It took me quite awhile to find a spear/class combo that worked for me and came to Renegade Revenant & Virtuoso Mesmer. Will definitely be giving Chronomancer another shot after watching this video.
God dammit i didnt know the clarity disappeared after using another skill for empowered effect. Now I know why it felt so inconsistent and it helps that 5 resets your 2 cd so you can just stack clarity fast
Hey! That's probably something that was asked multiple times - are you using shaders? If yes, can you share the preset? Your game looks gorgeous, and each shader preset I've tried completely darkers or blurs the game. And also LEVEL UP YOUR MASTERY :D
I was using the spear on my heal alac Chrono. The spear phantasm is great for alac generation on your party. You open with spear, then swap and camp rifle

Spear and greatsword power mirage with sigils of stamina is a lot of fun in target-rich environments.
Ooo that is a GREAT open world build! I should try that out soon.

Seems like a melee range weapon for Virtuoso and that's about it. Needs work.

Usually Zerker and Dragons. Open world you can add a few other stat types for more survivability.
