Hi Gary, that was indeed an exciting day trying out that brand-new machine. Gosh, that was fun! If memory serves me correctly, that was a 100+ thousand dollar machine. Stay in touch, my friend. - Bill
Hey Bill, great chatting with you today! Now I have a better understanding of you.....I am very impressed and even more of a fan of you and your channel!! Great content in this videos and I am waiting patiently for your next....
@@billburkhart just the fact you thought about me to share makes me full so good! I am extremely excited and really looking forward to your next video to listen and learn. I literally screamed in the store when I read your message!
Hello again from the Twin Cities. I always enjoy seeing your videos pop up in the notifications. It was neat to see a glimpse of the John Deere factory in DBQ. I use to fly over it 20 years ago. Take care.
Hello from Maywood, MO. I drive through Dubuque on my way to Madison, WI occasionally. I haven’t ever stopped but I told my wife it would be a good place to go and spend a weekend. Really neat downtown area by the riverfront. I enjoy your videos.
Hello Ryan, if we ever get this Covid issue behind us I agree you would enjoy a weekend here in Dubuque, pretty friendly town and people. Dubuque has been very good to me. Stay safe and healthy and thanks for checking in
I love these videos mate! Inspired me to rip, till, seed and Harrow my paddocks with my 2 garden tractors, 18hp and a case 25hp, love that small tractor play, Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Wow what a nice tractor did you keep that the little green one are trade it in . That the kind of tractor I should have got when I first started with my land. I've gone through 4 , tractor now and still not frond what I wanted. But not I'm retired . Don't have that cash flo now so I'm stuck. Ron from Ga. Nice tractor good luck with that.
Hello Ron, I purchased this tractor for my employer, but as department manager I can operate it when I’d like, as long as I can get it away from Dale the foreman. 👍. I kept the 2038 for my home use, although coming home to it is kinda of a downer😀
Congrats on your new backhoe. It's one good looking machine. You sure operated that BH with some expertise. I'm still quite shakey with my BH work. I have a tiny Massey tractor with a BH on it. It does what I need it to do. Really enjoyed your video. Saying hello from southeast, North Carolina (Richlands , NC). Have a fine week. Don
Wow Bill, that was a real treat, your making me drool, i just got back from the garden and tried out my new subsoiler, was looking for a middle buster from deere but they were 3 months from getting one so I picked up a cheapy from TS for ripping up the hardpan, must say that worked better than I hoped for. I found out that it is not QA so after talking off the IMatch I discovered that there was more lift height on the hydraulic top link, i think it will go to full height but will check next weekend for sure, Thanks again for the amazing video, Enjoy!!!
Hello Ty, I never considered the I match reduced the lift height, interesting observation. As a department manager I get to operate the new Backhoe once in a while when I can get it away from Dale, boy it’s a heck of bunch of fun!!!! I’ve only read about the hard pan under the ground, no experience with it however good luck.
Hello Robert, hoping to travel to your part of the world someday, looks beautiful on television and in the movies, Stay healthy and safe thanks for checking in sure appreciate it
Hellow Bill from Newcastle Ontario Canada . We have a very large John Deere construction dealer just north of us . Lots of nice toys on there lot .My friend has a older model of that tractor hoe for his business with a massive amount of hours on it . They just keep going . But you got too keep the service going on them . He let the swing pins and bushings on the hoe cast steel bracket get too lose . Should of replaced them . Snapped the cast steel bracket at top clean off going down the road . He showed up at my place in a panic . So I welded it all back good as new . Was 6000$ for new bracket and complete dismantle of hoe from tractor too fix if I could not weld it 😳Fixed all the bushings and pins too . Still going today 👍 There one tuff machine . 👍 That computer on that new machine Probably recorded you not having the one down rigger arm down far enough when pulling the stump . Your in big trouble now 😂😂😂😂. 👍👍
Hello Steven, I’m expecting a letter any day from John Deere flagging me on that Error you mentioned😂 sounds like a very good job fixing your friends backhoe must’ve been a lot of work.
Hello I’m a department manager and was able to recommend the purchase for my employer, lucky me I get to operate it was in a while when I can get it away from Dale. 👍
Again i know this is an older video, but i can only imagine your excitement at the time . Absolutely awesome backhoe. Im jealous hahaha 👍

Hi Mark, you do need one!!!
Hello from Bettendorf, Iowa
Hello Harrison enjoy this awesome weather!
Nice machine but I can t believe you didn t get the extenda boom. It is a must.
I agree, it was a budgetary decision not to. Thanks for taking time to come out Percy
So this was purchased bt the company you work for? Its not your personal machine, correct?
That’s correct, at $80,000 it’s too rich for me personally, but I get to operate it once in Swahili when I can get it away from Dale. 👍
Hello from Alliance, Ohio
Hello Michael I spent many weekend in Weirton as a kid, I remember the black soot over everything, thanks for saying hello.
I, bought a 1966, case ck 530 188 Diesel Backhoe
Congratulations on your purchase, enjoy your new machine. I sure liked this one.-Bill
4 in 1 bucket is so handy and saves pushing crap all over the place. Nice machine though
Can't even imagine buying a machine without it.
how ,much is the fuel usage per hour in the 310l? is the 92hp engine?
I’ll check with the shop and get back to you tomorrow
Hello again, this tractor is 99 HP, and on eco-mode burns 3 gals per hour. Standard mode uses 4 GPH.
What did you do for a living to justify buying a new machine like that for a hobby. Lucky you.
Hello I’m a department manager and was able to recommend the purchase for my employer, lucky me I get to operate it was in a while when I can get it away from Dale. 👍
Seems tricky for a beginner

Hi
Good morning.
What’s the price on something like this
Happy Spring....this machine was about $80,000 with all the discounts. Thanks for the question.
You have a lot of cool equipment. I thought Deere's were green. I just looked up my name on google and found you lol
Too funny, thanks for saying hello. What part of the country are you in?
The construction equipment line can be yellow and black.
@@billburkhart, I'm located near Richmond, Virginia. BTW mine is actually spelled Burkhardt. I use the shorter version so it's easy to pronounce
