Hey man I’m a young ring maker from Australia was just wondering what you make your moulds out of because I wanna start doing wax stuff but don’t know what to make the moulds out of
You can make some at home with a paraffin candle and silicone ratio 50/50 melted together and left to set, check out Bonn’s “Jewellery casting at home” video.
You can also buy the wax online or at modelling shops. It’s called “Carving wax”. Hope this helps.

You mean the ring mandrel? I think he was adjusting the circumference, not really the size, he would use a ring sizer for that.
