Hello! I would like to share with you my experience of forging and casting. I will show the process of work, which, if desired, you can repeat yourself. I will forge a knife from a spring and temper it in oil. And then we will make a wax handle and I will show you how to cast it in a simple way.

There's something magical about learning a skill that lets you turn a raw material into something.
That is ornate as heck.
Beautiful work.
Mate you are amazing to watch your talent and craftsmanship are over and above any I have seen.(:
😂
This was the bomb! Nice technique ;)
Lovely piece.

i enjoy your videos ,you're really talented i'll always look forward for More ^^
Amazing!!!!
What did you sprinkle on the molten brass, and why did you do that? Thank you. I enjoyed this video. The aluminum foil left a really interesting impression in the wax. Nice idea.
borax to remove impurities, but thats only done when you melt the metal, he just wasted time
Less time more borax
Do you know if he is still selling the golden tickets cheers ,I like watching the foreign one as I like guessing how he is gonna do it .I like the handmade .I made the coke bottle top then got it cast in silver for me self ,then my Nike mates started asking cld they have one ,lol I’ve now done em in silver gold ,buttons on zippos etc it just went mad .cheers
Ferric chloride (ferric chloride hexahydrate) is the etchant used.

If we can use tin foil and paper to make hats does that make them potentially a fabric
Paper is but tin foil isn't based on the definition of fabric
What is your plaster man?
What was smeared on handle?
Noice🔥
В качестве карманного складного топора мож и пойдёт. Но это точно не бритва...
A mean razor with style👍👍
that's not how straight razers lock the heel is supposed to be able to cross the handle, have you ever used one in real life?
Also why did you bother adding borax after you poured the metal? it was pointless since that part of the spruce was getting cut off.
it was looking good until the etching on the blade. The handle looks epic but the blade now looks like the etching design was done by a 4 year old, looks phoned in & unprofessional. Would've been better off not etching the blade at all rather than wrecking the whole thing by doing a crappy etching.
We look forward to your one of a kind to top this genius artist. So we may critique your art.
@@marcoramirez2895 I don't do it myself but just because I don't doesn't mean I don't know what looks good & what looks crap. I'm not a chef either but I still know what tastes good & what doesn't. I am also not a musician but I also know what sounds good & what doesn't. So don't be a stupid moron. Just because I can't forge anything doesn't mean I can't tell if something is good or not & this would have been amazing except it was ruined by crappy etching.
@@Ryo-sj8wn remember to keep comments respectful and follow community guidelines. Good buddy

Meh..
Genial.
Amazing
You have to go on Forged In Fire. with your skills you'd easily win the 10 grand
he'd loose immediately, tbh its a whole other craft, he's not even good at this tbh
@@nonyabidness6492 you're entitled to your own opinions, but I saw an episode where a knife maker who only ever specialized in hand knifes was the second to last remaining
@@freestylefetus9346 I like Bonns videos but he's got years to go before he's mastered his craft
@@nonyabidness6492 I get what you mean, but I think he's well beyond the line of being good enough for forged in fire. and obviously he's not a master, very few people are. but Some of the competitors in that show are much worse than he is, so I say he has a very good chance of atleast coming in second place
