When Furballs Strike 48 - World Record Fursuit Bowling Meet 354 Furries

Our 48th When Furballs Strike Furbowl that I run and organize through FurLife: Pacific NW Furries was our biggest and best one yet! We broke our own world record from more than 5 years ago (WFS 30, 340 attendees) as an astounding 354 furries and 181 fursuiters attended WFS 48 from all over the Pacific Northwest!
We also shattered the bowlers record with 214, taking up 45 of Kenmore's 50 lanes, very nearly selling out the entire alley. DJ YopDrop played a great set in their WFS and public debut, we gave away well over $1,000 worth of prizes in an epic raffle, and more than 50 full 7-piece D&D dice sets to our Ultrasponsors in celebration of our Tabletop Gaming theme. The Pizza Party after bowling sold out this time as more than 40 hungry furries devoured 11 XL pizzas, 6 huge baskets of fries and salad.
Regardless of the numbers, the best part was seeing everybody having fun bowling, dancing, fursuiting, socializing and making memories together. It was an awesome and unforgettable day for our Pacific NW furry community!
Huge thanks to the staff of Kenmore Lanes for being wonderful hosts, as well as Dave the bar manager for help with the Pizza Party. Thanks to our volunteer staff, particularly Hubcap, Mathias and ChaosReign (who also takes the official group photo) at Pre-Reg, Smiles for taking attendance, MadDog for providing and setting up sound for our DJ and everyone who supports the event and donates prizes.
Can't wait to see what's in store for WFS 49 and our big 50th later this summer!
