My dad and I organized our old collection by color, then by card type and mana value. These days, I'm alphabetizing everything worth anything so that I can easily find it for Cardsphere! Got about 4k cards left to sort...😅

color
mana cost
alphabetical

personally, I sort by 1) type. 2) color WUBRG. 3) mana cost X spells are last with multiple X symbols not being relevant (exp {X}{R} than {X}{R}{R} etc). 4) alphabetically. This way I can keep track of how much of what cards I have.
