Mosaic the scrap
We mostly just use Italian smatli mosaics, but these might work ok
He is actually using a Breaking/Grouser pliers. The jaws have a flat side for breaking and a curved jaw for grousing.
That's right!
I've seen people use Cricuts with sticky paper to put the design directly on the glass for cutting. What are your thoughts?
More work, that's why we don't. But a ton of people do that
Thank you very much for this super complete class. Hugs from Brazil!
No problem!
It took quite a bit of time to do the bee piece. It's more intricate than I imagined, but not only is practice makes perfect, but more importantly, perfect practice makes perfect. As St. Francis de Sales would say: "Be who you are and bee that well" Nice job, guys. I've learned a lot from your tutorial. Thank you ❤
Glad you liked it! 😀
Really helpful and a beautiful piece Thankyou

Great detail on the cutting and grinding. Really liked the details in the foiling and soldering of the piece. Over all great content and instruction.
Thank you very much!
A non ammonia window cleaner works great to clean glass and a finished project. Rubbing alcohol does have some oils in it, that’s why I use a non ammonia window cleaner.
Good tip!
I use Isopropyl Alcohol instead of rubbing alcohol.
Your videos are very helpful and they do not go too fast which makes it easier to grasp!!
Happy to help!
What brand of light table is that?
US Art supply light table on Amazon
Carlos made a good point about grinding every side of every piece. You get a good fit between pieces and good edge foil contact.
Thank you!
Carlos is awesome! Thanks for creating this video
Happy to help!
Stop putting the chips in the trash! Bout it in a box and there is so much you can do with it
What should we do with them?

@@Mr.StainedGlassor a fused glass artist like me would love to buy them, for the right price😊❤
Unfortunately, they are not fusible glass! Unless you can some how make them work! @@debbiesteffen448
Have you tried breaking it under water? (no joke, just physics and chemistry)
I have not, interesting idea!
Hello. Love the detail you put into you r video. I have a question. What temperature do you set your soldering iron at when soldering? Thanks!
I keep it on the highest setting normally to move quickly. But you can dial it down as needed to allow yourself a bit more time.
What is the fume sucking contraption called ?
Fume extractor
What temp was the iron please?
It was around 400 I believe
What type off mask do you wear when soldering?
N95, an organic vapors mask/hepa combo would be ideal!

Thank you so much
I’m a beginner and it’s interesting to me that you don’t cut out the paper patterns and apply it to the glass for cutting. That’s what I have seen most people do. But this looks easier.
