Hope you're still well! Congratulations, this stuff isn't easy! I hope you are still clean. The best way to get through the other side if there's depression in my opinion, is with mushrooms and ketamine on occasion.

Tapering is key,i was on methadone 14 years and a peak of 188mg, I slowly tapered to 5mg and leaped off, I'm day 95 off methadone today. the acute withdrawals were not as bad as i expected but I'm still having days with PAWS. The day comes where we dont want to be a slave to this anymore and we must expect to pay the piper one day so better to just get it over with.
You can taper off my methadone successfully without any major withdrawal, I did it, but you got to take your time, years if necessary. I took about five years to taper down to one milligram, got to the point only had to go to clinic once a month, got a career going got married bought a house all while tapering off of methadone, trick was once I got to about 20 milligrams I went down one milligram a month, and I'm telling you that when I stopped there was almost no withdrawal, a little sneezing here and there and I just took melatonin and magnesium to sleep at night, I did start taking a little kratom, like 2 to 6 grams of powder in the mornings but stopped after a month because I really didn't need it. Anyway, I pray for your success, I know it's possible, I just wished I would've done it sooner 🙏
