My sister (who's studying in Japan) cried today because she discovered that ONE mango is $10. You can get at least 8-10 mangoes back home for that price XD She loves mangoes so she's pissed that mom's sharing photos of them in our group chat XD
I can't lie I probably be a sucker for that too. But, I'm slightly disappointed Martina didn't troll Simon by acting annoyed that he wasted more money on flowers that are gonna die shortly after purchase😂.
angiebunii after a poll most of the ppl I know would be suspicious, "what did you do to have to buy flowers for me to forgive you etc.?" I guess we Finns are suspicious ppl 😂😂 so, it's probably cultural.
While you might be checking comments I just want to say that my girlfriend has EDS hypermobility as well and your videos have got her through many dark days over the years before and after I met her. She’s the one who introduced me to your channel. Martina, you are an inspiration to her, and Simon, you probably don’t get the inspiration card called as much as Martina but don’t think you’re left out buddy, you work so hard to make Martina’s every day better and you two are the goal we aim for. Thank you both for being so positive and open and just living your best lives. Also nice tattoos dude I never cared much for tats but hell yeah I want them now. I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR EVERY BIT OF HAPPINESS YOU GIVE US you are part of the reason she is here for me to love and care for today. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This comment literally yet another reason why I love Simon and Martina so much, their life inspires so much in people, and brings us together as a community. It makes my heart sing to know that while there are still some unpleasant people/things in the world, this fanbase is generally full of loving, supporting, and understanding people- who just want to see each other grow and succeed. Thank you for leaving this comment, it brightened MY day, and I'm not even Simon, or Martina
As opposed to living *just* inside driving distance from the Okanagan Cherry Mines (where working conditions are The Pits) when the timing is right it’s $10.oo for a whole 2ftx2ft crate.
Australian cherries are the best, not on par with these higher end ones but just grown mass produced they’re one of the best in the world, I have friends and family from all over the world come during cherry season for that reason !! They take kilos upon kilos back with them also!
I grew up in a place where we have cherry orchards so I wonder if the expensive nice ones taste like the normal ones I have back at home. It's known that growers keep the nice ones for themselves so I do get spoiled with some nice produce. Edit: The dark red cherry is a bing cherry by the way, the one you know from Canada, the cheeper of the two your are trying is a rainier cherry. So they are different varieties. Edit again, holy cow I know way too much about cherries... Orchard growers consider cherries to be a risky crop, they are easy to mess up and if the weather gives a harsh frost later in the season you can loose your whole crop. This is why Cherries cost is in a flux, all depends on if the yield was high or low for that season. The more you know with Katie.... Ok I'm done now.
Probably Bing Cherries - Michigan produces a lot of those, and Traverse City Cherries are sent all over the world due to their high sugar content. Cool nights and hot days with plenty of humidity make a sweeter cherry.
@@TomoyaKun100 A special breed from a producer in Japan. Many of the expensive fruit they do videos on are especially bred as gift fruit or in season at certain times of the year. The way Japan cultivates a lot of its fruit is kept secret and only known to the producers themselves, so even their regular fruits taste WHOLLY different from anything you'd experience in any other part of the world. They look like bing cherries, but yet they don't.
I wrote a poem: Cherries are nice They are better than sugar and spice The cherries in England are quite sweet However the bacon is not as good as American meat I should be finishing my work right now So I've got to go, chow chow!
I wonder does that strategy actually work ? Or does youtube not pay for advertisements after a certain number have been presented in a certain time frame?
Honestly, I have no idea how you guys manage to make food trying videos so enjoyable and interesting! Just completely magnetic kind of personalities and so so easy to watch. Love it!
Fun fact: in russia we distinguish the tart and sweet cherries like they’re two different species almost? The tart ones are called вишня (vishnya) and the sweet ones are called черешня (chereshnya), they have very different textures, colours and taste - vishnya is always tart, dark red and small-ish, it should be very soft when it’s ripe but chereshnya is quite hard (otherwise it’s probably spoiled a bit already), sweet and can vary in size and colour - dark red ones are big and sweet like the ones you mentioned you have in toronto and yellow ones (or red and yellow) are smaller and more refreshing than sweet :)
Yes! In Germany the tart ones are called "Sauerkirsche" and I have almost never seen them fresh in the stores, only frozen. The cherries ("Kirsche") you usually see at the supermarket are the sweet kind.
Ohh, in israel there is a difference like that as well thou most don't know it becase the "sour Cherries" are very rare and hard to come by you can maybe find them One week a year in some plases in a big market but that it... I only know it becase I'm Originaly from Ukrain Where it's the same as in russia, but the "normal Cherries" are usually big and hard-ish and vary in color from yellow to very deep red... and they are sweet as well where the sour once are dark red and well sour.
Idk if you'd find this interesting, but when we hand pollinate at work it means we emasculate the flower- take off the male parts of the flower (The stamen which is the anther and filament, the anther contains the pollen) and we literally have a vial of the pollen (of a different variety) which we use the end of a pencil and tap the pollen onto the stigma (female reproductive part that traps pollen) of every single fricken blossom on the tree (yes it takes a loooong time for each tree). Another way to have specific cross pollination is that they would cover the tree (or the section of the orchard) in a mesh net and blast pollen, then release the bees into the net and trap them. Where they then can only pollinate that tree with that specific pollen, no bee nipples involved. Artificial selection right there.
In Germany we have Cherries that get up to a dark red with light to pink fruit flesh and Cherries which get up to an almost deep blackish red with super deep red fruit flesh (don't wear white clothes while eating them!). The lighter ones taste sour-sweet with a hint of bitterness (which i prefer, because they're just super refreshing in summer) and the dark Cherries are super sweet....and then there's also Sour-Cherries which can also get super dark and taste...well...almost like you bite into a lemon, but i love them too. Super nice für lemonade or sweet preserving for later use in cooking or baking
One more German cherrypicker here... I don't think I ever bought cherries, they seem hugely expensive even at a couple of Euro per pound when back when I was little we quite literally had buckets of them for free...
„There’s always some cherrytree around.“ I wish I could agree but nope, sadly not in my area, so I sometimes (very rarely bc I’m broke) treat myself to those expensive ass supermarket cherries. But only if I can get nice ones, I’m picky haha.
Simon: let's pop some cherries Martina: have you been waiting the whole day to say this Simon: no I just thought of it on the spot I swear that happy proud smile is worth not just the cherry, the recording the effort but the whole moving to Japan thing 😂😂😂 I ROFLed so hard
I love the expensive fruit series!! But I actually wanted to let you know that I discovered your podcast two-three days ago and I've been listening to it on every free moment I have. I wish you promoted it more so I would've discovered it earlier and that more people would find it as well. I've been utterly loving the podcast!!!
How much fun was this video!!! I live in the Pacific Northwest where fruit is abundant. We have every kind of cherry, but I have noticed over the years the price steadily increasing. This summer they are $5.99 per lbs. for organic red/yellow cherries. Delicious!!!
I’ve never in my life been this early, which is probably because of the time difference (it’s 3 am in Atlanta lmao). Love y’all and your experimentation of taste differences of all these crazy expensive fruits. You guys are the real MVP, takin one for the team 💪🏻💖
Omgggg y’all liked my comment!!! 😭 Y’all got me craving cherries now but all I’ve got are some generic subpar American cherries 😭 oh and thank you for teaching me that bees do not in fact have nipples- and to think I’ve been living my whole life imaging the queen bee had to breast feed her babies two at a time with each teet 😜 Also, can I just say that Martina, you look RAVISHING and I really think red is your color. Btw Simon sounded EXTRA Canadian for a second during 2:54 lol
shego1142 that’s awesome!!!! I don’t know anyone else personally here that watches them!! I’m partially up because all this pollen has gotten my allergies so whacked that I can’t sleep 😭 also I am done with finals so now I have time to binge watch UA-cam videos lol
please don’t read my name I can’t find many people who watch them period! And dude I know the pollen is ridiculous, I’m actually trying to save up the money to get a vog-mask, since I have asthma and chronic bronchitis, I really hope it may help
shego1142 same! I’ve been sending my mom their videos so we can talk about them lol cause I don’t know anyone else who watches them. I was actually thinking of getting one as well! My mom JUST got hers in the mail and really likes it. So I should like it too. The only thing is, it’s gotten in my eyes as well 😭 it was super windy in my area today. And the pollen is only going to get worse too 😤😩 I just need a gas mask or something lol.
I don't usually like rewatching things unless its been a couple years since I've seen it, but I love rewatching your videos. Especially the expensive fruit videos and food challenges
Memers eating the plastic was so relatable!!!! my cat loves to chew on bags too...... Also, I don't comment often, but your videos always make me smile and bring some light into my day, thank you so much!
I’m from Michigan and we are a major producer of the US’s tart cherries! The most common cherry breed we produce is the Mont-mornecy cherry. We love cherries so much here that we have a massive cherry festival every summer.
I love cherries 🍒! And now I’m craving them. We have the same deep red colored cherries because we get them imported from the US or Europe here in Dubai. I can’t wait to see your expensive mangos 😁👏
KIMYOKITTEN must be from Europe, or the West Coast side of the US, because I live on the East Coast and our cherries definitely aren't even as good as the 10$ kind. (Sadly, most of our fruit isn't great)
KIMYOKITTEN fruit originally didn't taste nearly as sweet. It's so sweet because it was genetically modified. In Europe u can still find wild blueberries which are way more tart than the ones u can buy
watching the ads!!!! i love these videos, having expensive fruits as gifts is such a .. cute? cultural thing. I think it's really precious. here (scandinavia!) we have different kinds of cherries, but they're all different shades of dark! not clear and yellow-y like these, more pink or dark inside. They're sweet and slightly sour and kinda. hearthy? for a fruit? they have a deep flavor compared to say oranges or melons.
In Poland we have all different types of cherries and they're also eaten in different ways! in May/June we get the sweet ones, both dark and lighter in colour and we just pop them off the stems and eat as a dessert or a snack. But in August when I go to my grandma's we have a couple of cherry-picking days and we pick the other type of cherries, the super sour ones, that are then boiled with sugar to make jam or cherry kompot. The ones you got today look sooo pretty and flawless that it makes me wonder, don't they taste fake? Like cherry candy?
Notification squad back at it again, these videos hurt my poor college student heart D: but none the less I watch the ad and support you all FOREVER!!!!
I LOVE ya earnings Martina they are cute, The cherries I grew up eating mostly were Bing cherries but I've had other types too 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒 I love your videos and can't wait to see what ridiculous expensive fruit Simon buys next maybe mango or some other fruit that is only native to Japan it self
In Poland we have multiple kind of sweet cherries the deep red ones and almost white ones as well as yellow-red ones and the prices range from about 8$ per 1kg to 3$ depending on the season and type of cherry. We also have sour cherries and they are great! A lot of our fruit is grown domestically so it’s relatively cheap here during the season :)
Simon and Martina had some super amazing and juicy Malaysian Bell Fruits the other day YOU GUYS DEFINITELY SHOULD TRY THEM ONE DAY!!! It’s called Jambu Air here.
alejandra rodriguez MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY! She has a very sweet and open face but her eyes and lips are mature and detailed. She’s so pretty and her personality makes it more so. ^~^ plus she can ROCK pink!
Legend says that if you're early simon and martina will like your comment . Also i wonder how they afford all these expensive fruits like the $$ *heart aches*
A. I LOVE the way Meemers' head just popped up when you revealed him. Just. PERFECT. Jack in the box level UP. B. HOLY HECK those cherries are beautiful. C. I was laughing so hard the whole time thank you.
Hi Simon and Martina. In Portugal we have a special area just for cherrie production. It's called Fundão. The cherries from there are the sweetest cherries ever. In the supermarket you usually find cherries that vary from a lighter colour to a dark colour. The lighter ones are not that sweet, they taste watery and sometimes sour. The darker ones are full of juicyness and sweetness. It's like an explosion of flavour in your mouth. And they're not that expensive 😊
In the Philippines, we have cherries which we have to get from canned fruit cocktails (not the drink but Fruit cocktail which are composed of variety of chopped and processed fruits inside a can, normally used to make a Fruit Salad during Christmas) and they are really small, so when we eat Fruit Salad during Christmas you are lucky if you get one half of a cherry in your bowl.
Benji, we saw how you reacted to those expensive apples in Japan! 😂😂 Now don't get all fancy pants on us and start buying ultra expensive fruit. Judy will be pissed! 😂😜
I live in the Okanagan (a region of BC in western Canada very well known for fruit production for those who don't know) so I get spoiled with all the local cherries. They're usually a pretty bright red and mostly sweet with a bit of tang. However if you can find someone growing a variety called a Ranier or a Queen Anne, they turn yellow when ripe and they're like popping candy.
My dad is from Traverse City Michigan and they LOVE cherries. For an entire week each year they have a cherry festival where they have the Blue Angels perform (the Navy's plane demonstration squad), a parade, competitions, and they even have a cherry queen! It makes sense though, because the surrounding area is filled with cherry farms. It's very beautiful, you should visit there in the summer if you can.
Don't send flowers, make cherry-table donations 😛 I feel so blessed when have great tasting fruit for cheap in Italy, and lots of cherry varieties! Wikipedia said there are 37 indigenous species, one of my favourite is the Durone Nero di Vignola.
In Belgium the basic cherry you buy in supermarkets is usually the super dark red/virtually black cherry. But other cherries exist if you go to organic shops or farmers markets like the "bigareau" which is usually half pink half yellow and the white ones which are a pale yellow. My father has some trees of those in his garden.
Happy belated birthday Martina! For some reason the dark cherries we get nearby in Ohio tend to be rotten, but we have really good golden cherries when it's the right time of year. I've never seen cherries at any of the farmers markets either.
Traverse City, Michigan is pretty famous for their cherries and there's a cherry festival every summer. There are lots of different types of cherries grown there which are all super yummy. Oh, and we have a store called the Cherry Republic that makes all sorts of cherry stuff. There's jelly, candy, salsa, bbq sauce, pop, wine, and other tasty stuff all made using cherries. Plus you can sample just about everything in the store for FREE.
This blows my mind! I live in Washington state and are known for apples and cherries. Specifically Raineer cherries which are blush pink and yellow, gorgeous and delicious. They sell for, like, $3-6 a POUND depending on the time of season. Knowing fruit is at such a premium elsewhere in the world makes me feel like a cheap skate. 6 bucks for 16 ounces of decedents seems like a steal now!
In Quebec you get the regular Bing cherry 🍒 (the dark red ones) or the Rainier cherry 🍒 (yellow flesh with a blush of pink on the skin). Love the Rainier because they’re milder and sweeter than the Bing.
It takes such a long time to grow a tree, they could just have it in a pot. I live in an apartment building in Finland and I have mangoes, avocado, cherry, pomegranate, nectarine and apple trees growing in pots :D Just keep it small, like a bonsai
Washington Rainier Cherries are usually golden with a blush of red, are good if you really want cherries, the best come from the eastern side of FlatHead Lake in Montana, right off the trees, to the roadside stands, and if you spent $100 on cherries, you'd need a large truck to haul them away.
In Oklahoma they are like 8 Dollars a Lb for Rainier Cherries... black cherries are like 6 Dollars a Lbs.. I love them but they are a specialty for me..
I'm from southern Michigan in the US not far from Windsor, Canada. Michigan is famous for growing cherries, so when we do have them seasonally they are quite good, but still more expensive than some fruits. There are a few varieties including the sweet dark cherry you guys described and tart red cherries for pies and jams. To get them cheaply you go to "UPick" orchards since you do the work yourself to get them off the tree. It's fun! The rest of the year we get them from California or other places with long growing seasons. They aren't so good.
We used to have black cherries too in Ontario, but since moving to Alberta we usually get Bing cherries now. They're not as dark, and I find them to be a little less tart as well! Love the video guys xo
In Australia the tart dark cherries are the commonly sold cherries and it's usually around Christmas time. Very rarely do we have the red ones unless you know a local grower.
I'm from BC Canada and all the cherries I've ever had were from a cherry tree in my backyard lmao, it produced black cherries and yeah with them you just got a whole bag and it was either a hit or miss with each cherry
I live in Asia and most cherries are imported from US or Australia. Taste wise pretty similar to what you guys described about them, once in a while you taste a really great one, then mostly meh......
I'm so happy you did $100 Mango video I love mangoes! I'm watching this cherry one because right now in June I got Cherrys in Walmart for $1lb I couldn't believe it
So expensive, hahahaha Here in Brazil, most cherries come from Chile and I guess they're more like American cherry style. Black cherry, not so sour cherry. Of course, expensive as well… but not $100/35un. hahahahha
Love these types of videos, I would love to see more! When I was living in the south of France the cherries were pretty cheap (when in season) and varied from a light red to a deep red. I also found them a bit tart in taste.
June July and early August. Rainier cherries, I think they usually go from $8.99 to $12.99 a pound, the best in the USA anyway. You guys are great and an inspiration.
DO THE MANGO YES.
Sounds like a plan!
Why do I feel like Simon was the one who answered that and not Martina?! XD LOL!

I would pay for it

No problem! I finally put my agriculture background to good use.

Simon: let's pop some cherries
Martina: have you been waiting the whole day to say this
Simon: no I just thought of it on the spot
I swear that happy proud smile is worth not just the cherry, the recording the effort but the whole moving to Japan thing 😂😂😂 I ROFLed so hard
Maya al Martina: How would you pop a cherry in this situation?
Simon: Well, in your mouth, obviously
Martina: Oh, good joke, sir *handshakes* 🤣

I was actually thinking of getting one as well! My mom JUST got hers in the mail and really likes it. So I should like it too. The only thing is, it’s gotten in my eyes as well 😭 it was super windy in my area today. And the pollen is only going to get worse too 😤😩 I just need a gas mask or something lol.
Don't skip the ads guys! Turn off your ad blocker thingy! :D

I honestly Love this expensive fruit videos!! They look really good! Have beautiful day guys 🤗🤗 Lots of love from New mexico!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I don't usually like rewatching things unless its been a couple years since I've seen it, but I love rewatching your videos. Especially the expensive fruit videos and food challenges
Just want to say before I even start watching this, that the expensive fruit series is some of my favourite content that you make! Love you both! Xx
If your man doesn't treat you well let that MANGO! he he he.... no?
I really need Simon and Martina to see this pun...
LMAO!
YAAAAAAY!!!!! I’m always excited for a new Simon and Martina video 💘💘💘💘
I did a jigg when I saw the title. The waiting is over
Memers eating the plastic was so relatable!!!! my cat loves to chew on bags too......
ITS 3AM BUT SIMON AND MARTINA UPLOADED SO I GOTTA WAAATCH
I love cherries 🍒! And now I’m craving them. We have the same deep red colored cherries because we get them imported from the US or Europe here in Dubai. I can’t wait to see your expensive mangos 😁👏
KIMYOKITTEN must be from Europe, or the West Coast side of the US, because I live on the East Coast and our cherries definitely aren't even as good as the 10$ kind. (Sadly, most of our fruit isn't great)
A. Nite most of the time the cherries look delicious but don’t taste too sweet. We can only dream what these cherries taste like😁
KIMYOKITTEN fruit originally didn't taste nearly as sweet. It's so sweet because it was genetically modified. In Europe u can still find wild blueberries which are way more tart than the ones u can buy
Sv Vr totally true 👍
"Sexy box" 😂🙌🙌 I love their reaction to just the box alone. Lol
watching the ads!!!! i love these videos, having expensive fruits as gifts is such a .. cute? cultural thing.
I'm sorry Martina but I love the expensive fruit videos. I refuse to stop.
This is the content I signed up for. Sorry Martina RIP🙊
I've tried so many times to explain my British friends the difference between wiśnie & czereśnie, thank you hahah
+Ewa P haha I know right? Polish makes it so easy for us :)
I'm still waiting for the $90 peach video Simon mentioned last year~! XD
I'm waiting for it to go back in season!
Martina so pretty! Makeup n hair is spot on. More of the meimers pls. Simon’s logic abt the mango makes total sense.
Always willing to watch the ads for the expensive fruit videos! 💓🙌🏻 Simon is adorable and hilarious. And Martina your outfit is on point 👌🏻
omg yall shaking hands after simon's joke is my friend and i every time we make an acceptable pun.
Yesterday I told Martina that the next big piece of Ootoro I eat I'll call the Ootorious B.I.G. and she shook my hand for that too :D
amazing
Simon and Martina your life has peaked, Simon
Notification squad back at it again, these videos hurt my poor college student heart D: but none the less I watch the ad and support you all FOREVER!!!!
I LOVE ya earnings Martina they are cute, The cherries I grew up eating mostly were Bing cherries but I've had other types too 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒
I love your videos and can't wait to see what ridiculous expensive fruit Simon buys next maybe mango or some other fruit that is only native to Japan it self
I love the expensive fruit videos that you guys come up with.
Simon and his super expensive fruit lol I love it. XD
Also, NOTIFICATION SQUAD! What's the last fruit you ate, and was it delicious?
Simon and Martina the last fruit I ate was an orange and it was amazing. But not as good as your videos;)
my last fruit? Melon ... not ripe enough ... T_T
Simon and Martina had some super amazing and juicy Malaysian Bell Fruits the other day YOU GUYS DEFINITELY SHOULD TRY THEM ONE DAY!!! It’s called Jambu Air here.
heyooooo
Simon and Martina I ate banana! It was all right; nothing to write home about.
This is really off topic, but I’m always drawn to Martina’s lips that I realized when she smiles they look extremely like Scarlett Johansen’s lips.
alejandra rodriguez the red lipstick looks so pretty on her too, it draws your eyes right to her mouth haha
Finally! Thought im the only one thinking about it
alejandra rodriguez MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!
She has a very sweet and open face but her eyes and lips are mature and detailed. She’s so pretty and her personality makes it more so. ^~^ plus she can ROCK pink!
Rainier cherries are very popular here. I have a Bing and Lapin cherry tree in my urban garden. Love em. Love you two as well. Such fun videos.
Please do more of these soon. I need to know more about expensive fruit in Japan. Simon. Please.
Legend says that if you're early simon and martina will like your comment
.
Also i wonder how they afford all these expensive fruits like the $$ *heart aches*
The prophecy has been fulfilled!
Simon and Martina IM SCREAMING omg i love yall so much ive been watching yall for so long HXHDHDHS love from Singapore!1!1
A. I LOVE the way Meemers' head just popped up when you revealed him. Just. PERFECT. Jack in the box level UP.
B. HOLY HECK those cherries are beautiful.
C. I was laughing so hard the whole time thank you.
In my country which is Macedonia we have dark cherries and they are very cheap and more sour than sweet and I love them, they're very yummy.
This video IS made more excellent by being able to watch Meemer's silly face in the background! Love him. =>.
Wow.... i so want to try :)
Benjiiiiiiiii ^o^
Same
Me too
Benji Travis gotta come back again 🤣
Benji, we saw how you reacted to those expensive apples in Japan! 😂😂 Now don't get all fancy pants on us and start buying ultra expensive fruit. Judy will be pissed! 😂😜
One of the few channels I let the ads roll for in the hope's that it helps.
Does it actually help when I let the ads roll with out skipping ?
Media Addict absolutely. Ask any UA-camr and they'll tell you it makes the difference.
Ok WHAT? This year Three Days Grace is performing at the cherry festival. Wow. Traverse City really takes its festival seriously.
I 100% get influenced by what y’all eat, and now I’m craving cherries. Which is good cause fruits are healthy ☺️
Don't send flowers, make cherry-table donations 😛
I feel so blessed when have great tasting fruit for cheap in Italy, and lots of cherry varieties!
Wikipedia said there are 37 indigenous species, one of my favourite is the Durone Nero di Vignola.
" I blame you all for encouraging him ". Me : Is totally not ashamed
2:01 mood
In Belgium the basic cherry you buy in supermarkets is usually the super dark red/virtually black cherry. But other cherries exist if you go to organic shops or farmers markets like the "bigareau" which is usually half pink half yellow and the white ones which are a pale yellow. My father has some trees of those in his garden.
Happy belated birthday Martina!
For some reason the dark cherries we get nearby in Ohio tend to be rotten, but we have really good golden cherries when it's the right time of year. I've never seen cherries at any of the farmers markets either.
Didn’t skip any ads 💕
Don't skip the ad guys
Mimi of course, we need them to buy more expensive fruit.
my my we need the mangoo nextt!
I turned off my adblocker for part 3 to happen :D
What ad?
My phone gets really slow with al those trackers.
Advertising killed their own golden goose.
I never do while watching them 😄
Every time I see these vids I never skip ads.
You are the best kind of person :D
Traverse City, Michigan is pretty famous for their cherries and there's a cherry festival every summer. There are lots of different types of cherries grown there which are all super yummy. Oh, and we have a store called the Cherry Republic that makes all sorts of cherry stuff. There's jelly, candy, salsa, bbq sauce, pop, wine, and other tasty stuff all made using cherries. Plus you can sample just about everything in the store for FREE.
Festival is always so crowded! But I love me some fresh cherries :p
And Rainier season is almost here!
Save the cherry pits and grow a tree!
I have a feeling that the intense housing laws in Japan wouldn't allow for that ^^"
It takes such a long time to grow a tree, they could just have it in a pot. I live in an apartment building in Finland and I have mangoes, avocado, cherry, pomegranate, nectarine and apple trees growing in pots :D Just keep it small, like a bonsai
Omg now I want to try $100 cherries, but I can vaguely hear my bank account laughing at me. Grrat video!
We need more of this awesome series. Pineapples? Apples? Lychee? Can't wait for the next one!
Your guys videos make my days. Thankyou so much!
Washington Rainier Cherries are usually golden with a blush of red, are good if you really want cherries, the best come from the eastern side of FlatHead Lake in Montana, right off the trees, to the roadside stands, and if you spent $100 on cherries, you'd need a large truck to haul them away.
That as a gorgeous visual you painted for me. Thank you :)
In Oklahoma they are like 8 Dollars a Lb for Rainier Cherries... black cherries are like 6 Dollars a Lbs.. I love them but they are a specialty for me..
I CANT WAIT UNTIL TOMMOROW. YEEES $100 MANGO😂🤣😂
YES YES YES!!!! I LOVE THESE!!!! IT"S THAT TIME AGAIN! AND DON"T WORRY, I WON"T SKIP THE AD ROLLS!!!!!
Depends on the season, when you buy fruit in season, they tend to taste better.. and cheaper ofc
YAAAASSSS! Expensive Fruits aka MARTINA CRIES INTERNALLY WHILE SMILING AT THE CAMERA series is back! 😂😂😂
Love you both!!
1:24 Simon´s excited face is priceless
"Cherr-ish" every bite 😆🍒😆
I live in Asia and most cherries are imported from US or Australia. Taste wise pretty similar to what you guys described about them, once in a while you taste a really great one, then mostly meh......
That would make the most expensive cherry pie, ever!
I'm so happy you did $100 Mango video I love mangoes! I'm watching this cherry one because right now in June I got Cherrys in Walmart for $1lb I couldn't believe it
Summer is around the corner, more pricey fruit videos please. I'll sit through however many number of ads needed to make this happen. :-)
When I saw the title I immediately thought
How dead is Simon after this video ends?
also ads never play for me before your videos I don't know why =/
So expensive, hahahaha Here in Brazil, most cherries come from Chile and I guess they're more like American cherry style. Black cherry, not so sour cherry. Of course, expensive as well… but not $100/35un. hahahahha
Love your cherry themed outfit Martina!
