Through my years of practicing family therapy I would occasionally have a divorce case in which one partner, usually the one who initiated the breakup, continued to make life miserable and difficult for the other partner and the children long after the divorce had been settled. It was as if he was saying to the world “if i can’t have her, nobody can!” Putin is that spouse who started the war, and when he can’t get his win he will make Ukraine uninhabitable for anyone. I am so sorry for such unbelievable destruction.

Wow, I keep hoping that there is peace in Ukraine soon. Some folks in our govt say it will go on for another 3 years or so, I hope they are wrong. So much of Ukraine has already been destroyed, and it doesn't seem like Russia is going to stop.
