I always enjoy your videos so much. this is my local park and I agree that Nemesis is the top coaster in the park, closely followed by The Smiler. the park really could use some more airtime focused rides, though.
My coaster ranking goes as follows: 1) Oblivion 2) Nemesis: Reborn 3) Th13teen 4) Rita 5) The Wicker Man 6) Runway Mine Train 7) Spinball Whizzer Haven’t been on Smiler or Galactica so I’m going to have go give them I go on my next visit. The park’s really short on thrilling flat rides, and I was lucky enough to go on Blade twice. I’m excited for Toxicator, and I hope X-Sector and Dark Forest get flat rides in the near future.
My favourite is Smiler, and before watching I'm guessing your favourite is Nemesis Reborn. I preferred Alton Towers to Thorpe Park in 2019, but I'm not sure if I'd still think that now, with Thorpe Park having added Hyperia. But to be honest my favourite park in the U.K. in 2019 was Blackpool Pleasure Beach which was likely more affordable than the Merlin parks than it is now.
Nemesis is the best I think, it is just so forceful. Wickerman would be n01 if it had a bit stronger airtime, but backrow nightride in the rain is insane. Rita and Oblivion are both one trick ponies that are good at their tricks. I’m not a big fan of the Smiler. When it is cold it is terrifyingly rough.
For it to be a castle it has to be a defensive fortification. This is simply a manor house designed to look like a castle with its gothic castle for design effect. I highly recommend the book “Alton Towers, a Gothic Wonderland” and “Alton Towers: Past and Present” (part of the Landmark Collector’s Libary) both by Michael J Fisher.
No matter how safe I knew Th13rteen to be, getting evacuated off the drop track was somewhat unnerving.
That would be a cool evac.
Ty!
You're welcome.
Great video as always 😊❤
Slipped to 4:07 cause we visiting this may !!!
Have fun!

I think it could really use a large flat ride package to help alleviate coaster waits.
Wicker Man looks like a fun experience with the theming!
It is.
Glad to see Galactica so high up your list, very underrated ride. In fact I prefer it nemesis! Interesting ranking!
Thanks!
Very good list, we share similar perspectives!
Thanks!
New Toxicator a new Top Spin on its way to Towers a sort retake on their original Ripsaw, did you do Enterprise by chance on your original visit
No, I had very limited time since they closed at 4.
Rita above wicker man and oblivion is a crime
Agreed
To each their own. I like Intamin accelerators.
and is that so bad? at the end of the day it's his list.
to be fair this is why I love his videos. his opinions are his opinions. he doesn't let common opinion sway him even in the slightest.
Ironic Skyride has been testing recently as its set to reopen this year after 2 years of being SBNO.
Can't wait for that to reopen.
I was surprised to see a tea cup ride and the skyride ranked over Runaway Mine Train. Is it really that tame of a coaster?
Runaway mine train is defo better
It's a scenic powdered coaster, but tame.
My coaster ranking goes as follows:
1) Oblivion
2) Nemesis: Reborn
3) Th13teen
4) Rita
5) The Wicker Man
6) Runway Mine Train
7) Spinball Whizzer

Nice list! I definitely hope they continue to up their flat ride lineup.
Also I think this has probably been said but the rapids are weak because of new rules after a death on a rapids ride at drayton manor
Didn't realize that.
As an average british Theme park enjoyer, it was obvious that Nemesis reborn was 1st :3
It's my favorite there, but Smiler was close.
Does the Nemesis helix feel like the one at the end of Silver Bullet @ Knott’s? or is it even more forceful than that?
It's even stronger.
Im curious to know if you have been on Runnaway Mine train and the Octonaughts coaster?
Yes
Oh damn I got here early.
Nice!

You guessed correct.
Wikerman is worthy of top 3 if you ride in the back
I tried it in the front and back.

I thankfully find Smiler comfortable. That would be brutal otherwise.

Nice list!
will you make your top 100?
Yes, it'll probably be sometime in February. A few life things popped up that'll delay it.
I don't wanna be that guy but it's an estate, not a castle

My bad!
I look forward to the upcoming Wicker Man, Rita, Galactica, and THE13TEEN review videos.
They will come in the future.
Wikerman, no5? Nah no2 over smiler defo
I like Wicker Man, but I prefer the rides ahead of it.
Really wish this park didnt have heights limitations
It’s really been a good thing for the park. If there weren’t limitations, they wouldn’t have thought out of the box with Nemesis or Oblivion.
On one hand they are limited. On the other hand, we get one of a kind coasters.
